    Pedalboard qs

I have a Grace Design Alix with feet on the bottom and a Boss tuner with the same. You can move the pedals about so the feet fall into the gaps or, even if the pedal is sitting on its feet, the Aclam clips still hold it in place. As you can see from this pic... ...the GDA is only held in with three Aclam clips (due to leads) and yet I can still hold it upside down and shake it* despite it being a heavy pedal. *easy
  2. Just sold a bass to Mick, a pleasure as always, great comms, instant payment, he's your bona fide pillar of the forum. Therefore I have no hesitation in awarding him the Frank Blank Seal of Approval...
  3. I would consider posting if this was arranged and insured by the recipient.
  4. ***SOLD*** The pickups have been upgraded to EMGs and it's had an 18v wiring upgrade with a Gotoh battery box, the controls are now nice and simple, vol (nearest the neck), blend (middle) and tone (nearest the bridge), the neck has been sanded and has a lovely satin finish, beautiful. All work was carried out professionally. The body has a few dings, rubs and scratches, I'm going to suggest this adds to the mojo of this bruiser of a bass, I have detailed the marks in the photos. I believe the weight to be around 4.5 kg but that's bathroom scales accuracy. This bass does not have a case or gig bag so I will deliver it to you, or you can come try it out or we can meet somewhere. Any questions or more photo req please just ask.
  5. Bought a bass from @Mike in a perfect deal, he went out of his way to meet me and deliver, he really is an excellent fellow, therefore I have no hesitation in awarding the Frank Blank Seal of Approval...
  6. I recently made a list of my favourite albums, luckily I can stretch my decade back to 1974 to include Kimono My House. Most of my favourite albums are from between 1979-82 so 1974-84 covers me nicely.
  7. For those who missed out on the original SRC6, Ibanez have introduced a new fan fret version, the SRC6MS...
  8. He might turn out to be a serial packet.
  9. Poor lad, I expect he was upset at finishing his gap year.
  10. But not in Thaxted.
  11. Oh I dunno, it always worked for me...

  13. This is such a bargain.
  14. We agree? Excellent. Let's go shoot anyone who doesn't... 😉
  15. The vacuum left by the decline of religion has been filled by the Internet, and why not? After all, facts, science, proof and considered opinions are 'difficult' they take education, thought, reason, the ability to discuss tough topics in the abstract, why bother actually thinking when you can go online? There you can find other folk that believe what you believe (without any basis in fact and untroubled by a moral compass) and you can gather on a platform from which you hoist your flag and shout your own horse shít variant. Argue all you like but the age of reason has gone, history and facts are there but they need reading, engaging with, as does any subject, to understand and comprehend where we currently are but with the infinitely pliable echo chamber of the Internet as an alternative to books, learning and understanding... well, we haven't got a chance.
  16. Seventeen minutes from Coventry is (IMHO) the best luthier in the country. Guitar Technical Services.
  17. I am a big fan of the Acinonyx, the new version may cover the limiting tone choices mentioned by @warwickhunt. Hopefully, if I page @Osiris, he'll be along to sing the praises of the Lionel, he can't rate his highly enough.
  18. Two of my favourite artists...
