Ibanez Studio ST-980 8-string, made in January 1980 by FujiGen Gakki, Japan. Mint pristine condition, dark rosewood fretboard, clean electronics with boost and Varitone. Come with OHSC in fair condition(some scuffs and missing the handle) Located in Italy.

The firs module(the one you see on the bass) is the "Bypass" module. As the name suggests, you have basic controls(independent volume and tone for each pickup, 3-way pickups selector switch) with the added feature to completely bypass the tone controls and routing the pickup directly on the output. You have a sort of boost for soloing. The "Recording" module add the possibility to split and combine the coils of the two humbuckers and put them in phase or out of phase.

BTW is a 1976 bass, it have a low serial number and all the features of the early production Shergolds(borrowed mostly from Haymans).
