The firs module(the one you see on the bass) is the "Bypass" module. As the name suggests, you have basic controls(independent volume and tone for each pickup, 3-way pickups selector switch) with the added feature to completely bypass the tone controls and routing the pickup directly on the output. You have a sort of boost for soloing. The "Recording" module add the possibility to split and combine the coils of the two humbuckers and put them in phase or out of phase.
