I would go with the steinberg ur22 it is great i purchased one while i was on holiday in the usa, it can playback at 192khz, 2 inputs , input 2 is for guitar, headphone out lots of volume too !!!solid little unit. and has your midi in/out.

no prob Thunderpaws lol There is something about that Geddy neck on the usa model that just feels instantly nice !!!! can't explain it, it just does, it was a weird experience for me, having played Rics all my days, it was strange to take to another bass like that i found it difficult at the body end of the neck at first but i know now that was just me being so used to playing Rics, i had to get out of that habit anyway !!!! feels like i have owned this bass for years !!

I have restrung the bass with a new set of Elixer nanoweb 45-105 strings and it sounds fantastic, that is £40 of strings added to the value of the bass !!!!

This Fender mexican thing is all misunderstood, all the parts are shipped from usa to mexico and put together by mexicans and as you can see a large part of the staff in the usa factory are mexicans lol.
