Me too, though sadly too young to have ever seen them play. Strange you feel the need to avoid their music though. Do you also avoid the other influential bands around at the same time? the Stones, Kinks, Small Faces, etc etc (it's long list!).
My quote was (slightly) tongue in cheek and i must admit that they did write a few decent tunes. Although i wasn't a great Stones fan i always thought that they and the Kinks, Animals, Small Faces were much more exciting than the Fab Four who always seemed to me to be the acceptable face of pop. As in, if your Mum liked then they weren't as cutting edge as you thought! P.S. In the early 60s i would much rather have been Johnny Gustafson (The Big Three, The Merseybeats) when posing in front of my Mum's hall mirror than Macca!

Having been born in the 1950s and brought up during the height of 'Beatlemania' i've tried to avoid the Fab Four ever since.
Try Helter Skelter - ok it's John on a bass IV and Paul on g****r but still a great song, for me it has a punk edge to it before punk was around
A bass IV?

I recently bought an Overwater Tanglewood Aspiration Elite 4-String Fretless but couldn't see it listed on the Overwater website so i emailed them and got a nice reply from Chris May: "I'm pleased you are liking you new bass! The top wood is maple - these basses have been made in small numbers (just a few dozen) - but the spec' is due to change with the next production and we are dropping the solid top at this level of production - so your bass will be fairly unique! :-)" I wondered if anyone else has got one of these basses (as there are obviously a few around) and what you think of it.
Fab bass, just to say I have one of these and the buyer will not be dissapointed at this good price.
Thanks. I agree that these are great for the money and i'm only selling because i've recently bought an Overwater fretless and have had to adopt a strict 'one in, one out' policy!

I'm always amazed that a lot sellers won't post guitars. There must be a lot of guitars that would have gone for double the price if they would post it and it's never been easier to arrange a courier. I wonder how they think it got to the dealer or shop in the first place? -
You have the option of blocking people with x number of unpaid item cases against the too. Mine is set: Block buyers who:

Have received 2 unpaid item(s) recorded on their account within 1 month(s)

I've done the same re: Blocking buyers and have a list of over thirty blocked bidders who were either non-payers or very late payers etc.
With Ebay's brutal oppression of sellers, its bidders that are the potential problem causers now, that thread is here: http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry1734439
I'm glad you posted that. You used to be able to give negative feedback to buyers but this was ended some years ago making a farce in my mind out of the feedback system. I have bought and sold many items successfully on ebay but as a seller have had dozens of items where the winning bidder (usually with no reason given) didn't pay up. Of course i haven't sent the item but the hassle of filing a claim etc makes this a real time consuming pain. I've even had 'buyers' email to tell me that that have bought a similar item that day so no longer want the one they bought from me! I've also had a 'buyer' that had bid (and won the auction) on the same item from myself and another seller but had only bought the lower priced one leaving me to file a claim to receive a refund which really is a hassle (this was Bass Guitar item related by the way!).

As the seller has listed two phone numbers why not phone them and speak to the seller?
Where did you buy it from?
I was surfing the net for one on Sunday evening and PMT Online had them for £99.99 including next day delivery. I bought it as i thought it was a bargain not to be missed but i don't think they have any more at that price unfortunately.
Very good. I like Korg processors.
Thanks. I like KORG stuff and have a MicroKorg, Monotron, Kaossilator & Ampworks so could't resist a AX3000B for that price.

Just took delivery of a brand new KORG AX3000B for the total sum of £99.99 including postage. One of the best bass related bargains i've ever had. Happy days!!!!!!!

Couldn't agree more. I wouldn't go anywhere without my Monotron and (along with my Kaossilator) it certainly made a wet caravan holiday sometime ago a lot better than it might have been! Look forward to seeing the vid.
