1. This has got to be bargain of the week! Free bump
2. Just started using one of these. Plugged into guitar input using poly mode, tracking is fab!
3. Got a link for it? Or am I missing something?
4. Bought a Warwick Corvette Bubinga from Andrew. The bass was as described. He had sorted a problem with the straplocks which was disclosed. Fair price. Good communication. Bass packaged to within an inch of it's life, this guy must be a professional packer or something! Deal with confidence.
5. I used a Wharfedale WPM 1 for a while, but it made my mic stand unstable, not good in a rowdy pub where the crowd are in your face, I also thought it sounded boxy unless going through a separate Eq. I now use a Behringer 210d ten inch powered PA speaker. I cut the bass on the speaker. It's got a good sound and loud enough for our band. Pretty impressed!
6. 'The Box' 12" powered sub. Full working order. Reasonable condition, a few scrapes and scratches commensurate with live use. This is never gonna provide the bottom for a full on metal or reggae band in a large venue, but certainly adds oomph to the kick and bass in a pub, or with a quieter band, a medium sized venue. No trades ta :-)
7. Powered desk for sale - 500 Watts RMS per side into either 4 or 8 Ohms. Fully working condition, some scratches on the chassis but nothing serious. Details here - http://www.allen-hea...oducts/pa12-cp/ £250 collection only from Milton Keynes. No trades ta.
8. Thanks dude, looks like a bargain. Unfortunately, with my little paws I'm into jazz type necks.
9. Not light but definitely not a boat anchor. What's it like neck wise? More like a J or a P?
10. Not sure what my model is offhand, but it's a pretty top end model with zebrano top. As per the previous poster I've fitted an Artec pre, volume, blend bass and treble, and it's absolutely transformed the bass. I'm about to put a glockenclang in, purely for the passive bypass, but the Artec will deffo be goi g into something else. A cheap and easy fix!
11. I use a pair of these as my rig and very happy - free bump!
12. I think that all that wear must mean it's been well used . . . . Which must mean someone liked it enough to play it endlessly . . . .which means it's probably a really good bass! Not a six stringer type myself but if I lived closer I'd deffo consider this for something different!
13. What's the neck width like on this? More akin to a J or a P?
14. Beautiful and very very tempted!
15. I bought an Akai Unibass from Woody. Arrived promptly, professionally packaged and probably in better condition than described. Deal with confidence :-)
16. I'll have it mate! Pm'd
17. This is really sad but probably inevitable for one who's lived so hard and fast. One of my heroes for sure but the body just can't take the kind of abuse he's given his without paying the price. God bless.
18. Just found this . . . . Pretty useful . . . . A, B, C and D are widths not shapes! http://www2.fender.com/en-GB/support/articles/guitar-neck-shape-v-c-u/
19. Great stuff Manton Customs. It's hard to picture how a C neck would be different from a U or D neck. Help me out here. . . . . A typical 60's Precision would have a . . . . . . . . Shaped neck A typical 70's Jazz would have a . . . . . . . .. . . . . Shaped neck A typical 60's Jazz would have a . . . . . . . . . . . . .shaped neck stingray has a . . .. . . . . . Shaped neck.
