Yes! Their sustainability polcy is excellent, I'm surprised every company doesn't have this. Though they might do and we haven't heard about it, after all, everything is in place to allow it to happen. As for the bass in this thread, I love it! Though I'm not sure I'd own one, but I do like it! Its not as nice looking at the CT one they did, is it you Silddx that has it now? Dan
Yep, I have the Streamer CT, best bass I've ever played.
My personal opinion is their prices way exceed what I consider fair for the product. Their custom shop price list is eye watering. I think they advertise too much and have so many endorsing artists I no longer pay attention.
You know what, I don't care about their marketing, their endorsees, their pricing, their weird looking customs like this one .. All I know is that they have a fabulous sustainability policy, the design and build quality is exceptional, the ergonomics and usability features are outstanding, they are superbly consistent in their quality control, they play wonderfully and sound absolutely beautiful. I can't think of many large scale manufacturers that can claim those attributes. I am pretty sure that I'm a Warwick player for life.
Man, I wish I could help. Sadly, in 45 years of playing, I've never dropped a note, never played the wrong song, never playing at a different speed than the rest of the band, never had a sound guy get drunk during the break, never had any cables being pulled out, and always had a perfect mix in the monitor. So I can't help you, but my guess would be that you're human, which must be nice, I guess. My guess would also be that next time you guys will do everything, everything, to make sure you can hear each other, and you will do just fine. My last guess is that this experience will help you grow. Good luck. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. best, bert
You're already addicted
Wow, wow, wow! Thanks so much. Had never heard about them, but love their studio music as well as their live stuff. Have bought Man Alive right away, plus the Schoolin' EP, the iTunes Festival live album and a remix of a song. All this is on repeat right now. Thanks again, bert
You know what mate, I get a right old buzz of electrical pleasure-static from posts like yours. It's so great that you and a couple of others here love this so much that they've instantly bought it because of this thread. They are a great band and I hope they continue to create such lovely stimulating music. It's worth reading his lyrics too, they are extremely articulate, puzzling, wonderfully interpretive and thought provoking. Cheers Bert!

f***ing vile isn't it. But then so are black Fender Precisions with tort plates and rosewood boards.
Ouch... <wince just thinking about it> Just had an outdoors gig at a small local charity festival and our band pretty much ruined our set... we couldn't hear ourselves because of a problem with the monitors, but having said that the band before appeared to do a sterling job with the same set up so perhaps it's not an excuse. We all sang off key, our timing was atrocious and there was no 'locking together'. To be honest we could all have been singing different songs at the same time and it wouldn't have been worse. All that rehearsal and time spent stressing over the gig and I'm wondering what's the point? I've not done many gigs - perhaps under a dozen - as I'm new to it, but they seem to be getting worse, not better *sobs*
And I bet the audience loved it
Reminds me of It Bites but not.....
Interesting. I'm a huge It Bites and Dunnery fan but not once have Everything Everything reminded me of them. And it was a fellow IB/Dunnery fan that turned me onto EE last year. I suppose EE are similar in terms of their imagination, complexity and musicianship, but not much more than that.
silddx, Offtopic but I'm loving Umlhalho and Weird Chord. The latter sounds like a Holdsworth intro. Re. strings I'd always use Rotosounds as a default. Bright with tons of life. visog
That's very kind of you mate, thank you! -
Good stuff - very interesting. I'll have to check the album out. Love this one:
One of my top three on the album that Come Alive Diana is another. The third changes. They are all ace really.
oh yes. friend of my band-mate did their original vidz (pre-fame). stunning bass. exactly what it doesn't say on the tin.
Cool! This kid is my new bass hero, he orchestrates so nicely and he's clearly so comfortable with the instrument. Great taste and finesse.
Never heard of them ............................ Have now ........................ Bought the album ............ Ta :-)
Wow! Brilliant! They have the second abum coming out soon. Their new single is called Cough Cough. And it's ace. You'll love the album I reckon. The music is wonderful, and his lyrics are superb! There is some great bass playing on there too.
like the title says really! I spent out £30 on a pack of these after hearing some good reports as i really like the standard slinkys. I am 2 dates into my band's autumn tour and they are dead! I have played them for no longer than 2 hours and they sound as dead as a very dead person. These things sounded great out the pack, had a good amount of girth on them but that lasted 30 minutes. I do wipe clean my strings after playing as i do go through them rather quickly but nothing like this. Totally gutted as i have another 10 dates to do and very limited budget that i dont want to waste on rip off marketing crap stings. Absolutely useless!!!!
I changed from DRs to Warwick EMPs over 5 months ago, the same set are still almost as bright as when I bought them. I'm a total convert, they sound fantastic! Big, bright, throaty and they feel lovely to play. They are quite expensive but they've repaid the investment greatly. I've probably put about 50 hours on them in the studio, rehearsals and live. They've still got ages left in them. If you want to hear what they sound like for slap and for warm tones, I have a couple of recordings here ..
Thanks for the feedback, I don't know about composition as such. It was improvised :-) Looking forward to hearing your entry nige
Improvised? Even more testament to your ears man! I doubt I'll be able to get something done this month tbh. I'll see.

You have lovely smooth technique, great chord changes aren't they. Not an easy bassline that, you do it really well.
-
Great playing mate! Lovely tone too! Hideous lyrics
Here's my entry for now. http://soundcloud.co...underthesurface I think I MAY have been playing too much Skyrim recently
Wow, that's great! very cinematic and you clearly have great ears for composition. really impressive and great to hear. Love the ending!
I did one! I was thinking ambient and ended up with this recording of 19 basses (18 playing the same note) and voices. The production is a bit 'low-brow' but I was not inclinded to spend too long on it because it is crap! It reminds me a bit of Bo Hannson! The working to an image thing was a new thing for me and an interesting challege. Great fun. http://soundcloud.co...he-dead-marshes I am not expecting a Grammy
Bilbo, I like that a lot! Definitely an underwater vibe, eerie!
Right, anyone interested in hearing the final mixes (as yet unmastered) can feel free to go and have a listen here:- Slow Motion Sickness E.P Hope you enjoy it. A brief word of warning, these young scallywags do like the use of lyrical profanity so the lyrics are possibly NSFW, and almost certainly not safe for little ones....
I like them Release Easy is my favourite. Definitely an early RHCP vibe and there's much Frusciante influence in the guitar. Production is very nice, I like the dry kit, but I would like the guitars to be a bit dirtier, it needs a but more filth. Great stuff though and Eth has a really nice voice.
