  1. Awww - in which case the Fishman might be just the ticket for you? Feel free to make me an offer I can refuse - I can only say "no" 😉
  2. MXR M238 Iso-Brick power supply for guitar & bass pedals (very good used condition). Comes with original box and contents including PSU. Please note there are 7 leads included (not 10) as per photo. There is a little residual velcro gum on a couple of surfaces, not easily visible and a tiny bit of residual blu-tac on the voltage dials (which, btw, is a very handy way of keeping these at the desired voltage!). Add £5 for 1st class signed for P&P.
  3. Plenty of folk are willing to pay extra for the "mojo" of a road worn look! Great to see this BB community coming into play in this fashion!
  4. Source Audio Manta BEF. In good used condition and comes with original box (but no separate PSU included). In terms of blemishes there are a couple of minor chips just visible on the top edge and one corner small indent. Velcro has been left on the base. From the SA website: "The Manta features a very unique signal path, internally splitting the instrument’s dry and distorted signals. The dry signal alone controls the envelope, increasing the playing response from the filter. The pedal’s 12 filter effects include 2 and 4-pole Low-Pass, Single-Peak, Multi-Peak, and Phasers. The distortion types include Hard and Soft clip, Octave distortion, Fold-back, Quantized, and synth-like Gated Fuzz. Each distortion has independent gain levels adjusted by the Drive control". Add £5 for first class postage.
  5. Looking forward to hearing some sound clips from your new contraption!
  6. We seem to have similar tastes 😀 - I've recently got the 2020 Proton, which I'm really liking, and a Helix (HX) and Becos (Stella) too. Although I suspect I'll never afford a Noble and have to make do and mend with a VT Bass DI! Is that a PT Metro 24 you've got them loaded on and what are you using for power?
  7. @MattiZ, thanks for sharing that. Unusual to see anything but Yammy pups on a Yammy bass - I think they really are the core of the Yammy BB sound, and I'd associate EMGs much more with Spector. If you get a wanted ad up, you might strike lucky with sourcing some Yammy pups. If you were to get the bass refinished (which I suspect would turn it into a valuable looker), would you get it done in the same colour?
  8. Nice board! And @GisserD's FI housing looks great! Quite a lot of filter and synth goodness on that board. Are you in a funk band?
  9. SA Neurohub for your Source Audio pedals. Comes with original box, 2 leads and PSU. From SA Audio: "The Neuro Hub brings full MIDI functionality to all of Source Audio's One Series and Soundblox 2 pedals. Connect the Hub to as many as five pedals and combine them into a thoroughly integrated multi-pedal system...enabling the creation of up to 128 single or multi-pedal presets (i.e.“scenes”), each recallable via MIDI Program Change messages." Add £5 for P&P Sold - many thanks to @Quatschmacher for connecting me up with an interested buyer. I owe him a beer next time he's down in London!

  10. Gotcha. Few of us love having mental fan noise! Except, of course, when they are punters at our gigs 😁 But if you could have the Mesa tone without the noisy fan? My Mesa M6 definitely has a noticeable (but not overpowering) fan. However it's pretty instantly lost when I start playing and then the tone just shines through. And I suspect the new hybrids are even quieter - but that would be a question for @agedhorse to confirm. If they are, would you not be a little tempted by the new Mesa TT-800?

    NPD - Zoom B3n

    +1 ^^
  12. If you look at international transfer pricing a distributor typically takes around a 3% mark up. What was getting everyone rightly stoked was the 30% margin Westside were slapping on! If they were adding any value for that we would be missing them. But I'm not hearing too many violins from us punters that they've been taken out of the supply chain.
  13. There's a classic SWR SM900 in the FS, right now...
  14. Well I shared your other video with the band and it's clearly inspired them - the guitarist has spent the evening learning the Black Dog riff! Dammit, I'd best go work on the bass line then! 😁
  15. If they could bottle my Mesa M6 in a D class package, I'd happily snap it up! If you get chance to A/B one against an Ashdown that could definitely be worth doing. The other thought would be stick with your excellent Berg Forte and warm it up with a pre amp pedal that delivers the zing you're missing? There are some great preamps out there.
  16. Weight aside, didn't float your boat?
  17. Well you've started a Mesa thread, just sayin' 😉
  18. I've had / still got the Ciocks DC5, One Spot CS6 - both very good. Also have the HB Iso5 - your Option 2. Really happy to recommend this. Great value, isolated/noiseless and plenty of juice. Currently underneath my smaller board and powering 7 pedals.
  19. Go on - unleash that pent up Royal Blood within! 😊 Fission Bass Powerchord FX Pedal lets any bassist lay down beds of power by adding stacked harmonies over their bass lines. Through an intuitive set of controls and footswitches, several combinations of octaves, 4th and 5th above the root note, combine to produce powerchords or octave-up effects. It’s also a multi-effect pedal with up to 3 voices of harmony, adjustable noise gate, overdrive, tone and effect level. This power-effect combo gives you creative control over anything from subtle octaves, to thick, grinding effects that even your guitar player will envy. The mix output is suitable for single amp operation and an effect-only output for feeding a dedicated guitar amp. Can combine the two outputs using an AB-Y pedal (not included). Add £10 for P&P - guaranteed next day delivery. These pedals are currently retailing at circa £245 new.
  20. OneControl Gecko MkIII MIDI Controller. This pedal is in almost mint condition - the screen has one tiny scratch and some very faint surface marks - but you have to look carefully to spot. I tested the unit briefly when I bought it (new) to make sure it was working and put some velcro on the base (now removed). But basically it's been unused since, as I ended up selling the midi-enabled pedals I was thinking of pairing it with. Comes with original box, and the 4 page user manual is available on-line - definitely would not have fitted in the box! Add £5 for 1st class P&P
  21. Forget the cheddar - what amp are you gonna get to bring out the flavour**?! (**see earlier, we've not forgotten...)
  22. Excellent value and capable multi-fx. It's essentially the much liked Zoom B1-4 but with built in expression pedal and additional effects for integrating the pedal. As with the B1-4 it comes with LED tuner (which is great for dimly lit stages) and drum machine, which I've really enjoyed for home practice. It also works really well as a headphone amp and will slip easily into a gig bag. The pedal has been owned by me from new, is in very good condition and comes with original box. Add £5 for 1st class postage.

  23. Will whoever has kidnapped our @walshy and stolen his BC log in details, please release him asap, otherwise international gear prices are going to plummet...
  24. @skidder652003 - your version of Black Dog which you posted elsewhere, was so good it made me ask my band if they would be up for doing it! Guitarist said he would prefer something a little easier, I'll see if he is up for Stairway... 😁
  25. Bought a pedal off Clarky. Very smooth transaction and the chap is a complete gent! Bas
