1.
hi how old is the rig and what would the repair cost be, ?where to get repairs done. is this a sound investment for my hard earned money, have to justify to the wife!!!!! newbie jon
Not sure how old it is, I'm sure someone on here can help though. No idea of repair cost but it doesn't "need" it, it sounds awesome as it is. If you must have it repaired I would suggest any music shop near you. As for solid investment, you wouldn't lose money on this.
 2.
Is it worth sticking this on ebay?? Things on there seem a bit slow to sell....
If it was 6 ohm's I'd bite your hand off for it.
 3.
This has to be your best chance. The 1x15 is an easy £150 (though a driver upgrade wouldn't hurt) The 2103X is an honest £250 (kinduva specialist top cab, but born to sit where it is) The head is worth £350 to anyone who has ever heard what they can do If I wasn't sitting with the same rig... ...or it was 500 miles closer ... ...
Thanks Thorny, I just put the lot together for the pics and seeing as the 15" is almost half the weight of the 2X10" it was easier to plonk it on top. The rig is priced to sell but in saying that I'll be sad to see it go as I use the head and 15" for practice. The 15" is fairly light which makes it easily portable and a lot easier than lugging my 4x10" around.
 4.
Hi, what are the dimensions of the cabs?
The cabs are 24" x 18.5" x 13". They are the shallower depth ones making them a bit more portable. More pics can be found HERE
 5.
What you looking for in trades? I have a Warwick profet 3.2 if you would be interested in exchanging amps?? cheers andy
I've got enough amps thanks.
 6. I've had this for a few months, practiced 4 or 5 times with it and gigged once. It's far too much for what I need, I only use 3 effects on it so I've decided to go for separates. Works fine and looks the dogs when it's all lit up on a dark stage.
 7. I’m selling my full Trace Rig and believe me this thing is stupidly LOUD LOUD LOUD. It’s a great set up and the person that buys this will absolutely love it. The amp is the famous GP12 AH250 SMX and I have the pedal for it too for switching between EQ settings. It might need a new valve as there doesn't seem to be much difference when the valve blend is added, It still sounds absolutely superb though. The 1x15 is a good powerful cab and can handle anything the amp throws at it. It’s rated at 200 Watts. The 2x10” is the 2103X model and has 2x5” tweeters in addition to the 2x10” ones. This is rated at 300 Watts. The attenuator dial is loose and needs some attention, it’s probably a quick fix but I’ve never worried about the tweeters. This really is a great setup, Just plug in, play and blow them all away. I would prefer pickup only due to size and weight however if you want this courier'd feel free to enquire.

 10.
This is an 8 ohm cab in really nice condition. Comes complete with casters and an official Aguilar padded cover. The for sale price is £375. Trades welcomed for Eden D410XST cabs or EBS 4x10 cabs. I would really prefer collection, or meeting up somewhere.
Yes please
 11.
Andy's a top guy to deal with. Not only did he sell me some speaker stands at a great price, he bravely negotiated the Saturday shopping traffic in Canterbury town centre to deliver them in person at the weekend. Wish we'd both had more time for a coffee or a beer. Chris
I think he negotiated Swindon Town Centre too on the same day as he dropped off a guitar stand for me. He doesn't half get around the country, that's the second time he's been to mine, I rwally should stop buying off him but his prices are hard to beat Top man Andy.
 12. I've just paid double that for one and I think it's worth every penny. Don't let it pass you by.

 14.
THere are several Ampeg's that are around this power rating, ie the SVT7PRO. Also for around 1K I would be looking at power amps as well.
I liked the look of the Hartke Kilo, whatever happened to it ?
 15.
Ouch! I can vouch that these are really nice basses! I have the same bass in an amber colour with a r/w fingerboard. And I would never consider selling it! I might take an overwater as well and maybe use the fender as my backup... Even thats a maybe! lol I think I paid £1250 for mine about 7 years ago, so £800 seems a bargain! Good luck with the sale!
My rush of blood has now gone, it's a keeper
 16.
sorry i have to say im not sure FMT's are really Jazzes.. if you post it to me i could varify it for you, and give it back to you in a few months or so..
I'm sure something could be arranged if it were reciprocal
 17.
bump!
I'm swaying towards this at the moment
 18.
Proper jazz basses to me have to be passive with single coils! You cant get that sound any other way!
Mine is an active Jazz Bass made by Fender..........................does that mean mine isn't proper It's for sale HERE if anyone is interested
 19.
I used to have a white Yamaha BB414 which I liked but I couldn't live with the body shape but I like this a lot. What would it cost to post as I am too far to travel for a pick up?
Price includes postage to the UK Mainland.
 20.
Oooooh very tempted! But i think i'd find it to pretty to gig with! haha
It's a great Bass and built to be gigged
 21.
Im not very technically minded so please bear with me. I took my new bass to a gig on friday, hooked it up to a markbass rig lmk2 and 4x10 gain was about 75% volume between half and 75% and it was distorting like crazy but was the only way i could be heared in the mix. When i turned the gain or volume down, the distortion subsided but I couldnt be heared over the drummer. I have another bass that when using this configuration only requires 30% gain and under half volume with plenty of headroom left. my question is, would a bigger amp i.e 1200watt markbass solve my problem. or is the pre amp on my new bass just sh*t? appreciate some help Regards Mark
Is your new Bass Passive, you might have to let the amp know if it is.
 22. Selling this Yamaha Bass that I used as I needed a 5 string. I've now bought a Shuker and don't need this anymore so I'm letting it go for what I paid for it which I think is a bargain £200. Price includes case. Body Alder Neck Maple Fretboard Rosewood Pickups 2 active humbuckers Hardware Silver Controls Volume, pan, bass, treble cut / boost Bridge Die-cast Scale 34" Frets 24 Color Pearl Snow White
 23. Bump for better pics...................sorry for the quality but I'm not the best of photographers.
 24. In light of myself buying Mike's Shuker, I think I've finally found the 5 string I've been looking for. Therefore I'm selling my Jazz. It seems silly leaving a bass like this at home while I gig the Shuker and it's a shame not to use it as it's a lovely Bass. I was always happy with my Jazz until I joined this site then gas took a hold of me and I've seen a fair few Basses come and go but none of them have been able to shift my Jazz......until now..............and only because I've moved to 5 string. Not sure of its worth second hand because it's fairly unique and they don't come up often but new they used to cost around £1300 so I'm looking at selling it for around the £800 mark. It's just been restrung with DR BKB-50 'Black Beauties' Black 4-Bass strings . I've had a few messages asking the weight of it. Using the digital bathroom scales it works out around 8.6lbs (Myself plus Bass subtract myself minus Bass) I'll try and get some better qualities photo's up tonight. Here's the official blurb A classic piece of Fender craftsmanship. It features a beautiful 1/8"-thick piece of highly figured flamed maple that is bent by hand to fit the contoured body.
