Bought an amp off Brian. Whole deal was an absolute pleasure and he’s most generous when in Starbucks, ta !
3.
How does the line selection operate on this? Can it switch from Ch 1 to Ch 2 in a single tap for example or is it just 3 independent on/off selectors?
Oh dear, it’s been so long since I’ve used this, I think it’s 3 independent channels - but - let me get back to you !
4. Bump, with updated info and pic on the 3-Looper (all other pedals sold).
5. Bass now back with me ! New price £2000 - I may be interested in PX’s...
6. Mike bought a couple of pedals off me recently... ...top bloke !
7. Chester/NE Wales area. Otherwise, happy to meet up locally or maybe a bit further depending...
8.
MB1. Hope your well! ...Still Left?
Hiya !!! Yes ta - you !??? Yes, still sadly sitting in it’s case down south. I’m sort of considering getting it back and going piccolo on it...but am open to offers and PX’s etc !!!
9. £400 posted UK or cheaper for meet/collection. open to offers. Basically new (May) one owner, boxed with all inserts. This is my back up and hasn't managed to displace my GK, it's probably done a gig and a rehearsal and other than that has sat in a gig bag since purchase. I'm planning on getting a valve head and matching cab so need funds. PX's like a V4B and silver faced 2x12 are do-able (as if). http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh800/ More pics and info available on request, I'm located near Chester/M56 if anyone wants a go ! 10.
Any chance of a close-up picture of the controls of the COG?
Will do asap !
11. Mark One - 3-Looper, 3 Channel loop pedal. Comes with manual (A4 sheet) - £30 To quote: We all have our favourite effects pedals, but so often they can affect your instruments signal even when they are turned off. The MarkOne Audio 3-Looper pedal is one in a range of loop pedals designed to make your favourite pedals true bypass. It works by isolating 1 or more mono effects pedals within any of its three true bypass loop. You simply plug one of the sends on the 3-Looper to the input of your pedal and then route the output to the return on that channel and you have now made your pedal(s) true bypass! You then leave your effects pedal(s) turned on in the loop and simply access it by using the footswitch on the 3-Looper. Not only do you get the benefit of true bypass, you also gain the ability to turn a group of effects on or off with just one press of a switch. The 3-looper also benefits from being completely passive and therefore needs no power to run. However, you can hook it up to a standard 9 volt dc supply or plug in a 9 volt battery to power the LEDs which light up when a loop is selected. http://www.markoneau...k/3-looper.html £30 delivered UK.
12.
I suppose the original Steinberger cases were like gun cases so no surprise it fits what you have. Feel free to upload a pic to illustrate the snug fit.
Can't sorry, had 4 of the Hohners and sold them all ! It was a black RWS case I recall, waffle foam interior !!!
13.
Still looking. Doesn't have to be a Steinberger case. Will fit in any guitar size gigbag but trying to find a case that is both short in length and narrow like the bass itself.
Have you considered a hard shell shotgun case ? Perfect dimensions, depth and padding - I bought one off a friend for next to nothing.
14. Nice Steinberger, rare to say the least. Did you manage to source a case (saw the wanted post) ?!!

17.
I should clarify. I have lots of gear to gig with including a few Barefaced cabs. This Ampeg one would be for "indoors". I bought myself a house and I'm having it decorated right now. I'm placing musical things around the place in a way that they blend in with the room decor. I'm looking for pieces that are sort of works of art but they've got to be "best of breed". That way they're also talking points. I have a Martin acoustic, a 60s AC30, a Hammond and Leslie etc. I think the Ampeg might fit the bill quite nicely but I'd like to get my hands on one as I'm aware it's gonna be pricey. Here's my old Gibson amp already in the library to show you what I mean.
Yep, mine is 99.9% home use only, and I built an entire bedroom around it. Sad but true, but when you plug a passive Fender into it...:-)
18. Yep, trying one would be a good call and bear in mind the volume limitations (usually 30w) if you want to gig it. Andybaxterbass.com usually carries a few original examples, then there is the late 1990's Diamond Blue 100w and more recent Heritage versions which may still be available. The odd one does turn up in the classified sections here. Great amp.
19. Wishbass - can't quite tell if this one has got a truss rod ! Each to their own...
20. Jon recently bought an amp off me. Top fella, faultless transaction at every turn ! Deal with confidence.
