    Precision bass

I’ve PM’d you something I’ll be putting up for sale (already on FB)
  2. I have to admit I’m really struggling with a pick after 20 years of finger playing. I’ve joined a rock covers band and more songs are needing a pick as I cannot keep up with the speed, plus they need ‘that sound’ - any tips on pick techniques greatly appreciated
  3. SOLD ELSEWHERE
  4. Yup, a future classic I reckon. Will miss it when it's gone
  5. Tanglewood P neck, 63.4 -64mm heel, with tuners, decent neck £30 posted or collect from Plymouth
  6. Recently bought a Genzler amp from Mike. Everything was tip-top, top chap, top communications and the amp is perfect. He even sorted out a convenient delivery via his friend for me - 100% thumbs up from me. Many thanks.
  7. After a recent acquisition of a mind-blowing Genzler Magellan from here I agreed with her indoors I'd balance the books up a bit so hence the reluctant sale of this wonderful OTB amp. These Amps need little introduction and this one was one of the last in production which I purchased brand new from Thomann. I bought it in late summer 2015 and it's done a few wedding Motown gigs and never missed a beat. Due to a change in musical directions from the functions band scene, It has largely been retired over the last 12 months in favour of using my Markbass amp for a 'hifi' cleaner sound to use effects through. The amp is in great condition and essentially low mileage. Any trial welcome. Looking for £325 couriered within the UK, otherwise, collect from Plymouth
  8. Yup, it's mine now
  9. So the Fortress electronics that are in it now, I take it the pre and pickups are different to the oriignal standard Streamer electronics then? Is it a different sound?
  10. Looks great, good job and great basses......and a cheeky first dibs if you decide to sell on
  11. Do you know if it is a nitro finish on the body ?
  12. Allocate the jobs to ensure each band member knows what they’re needed to do - a lot of time is lost in people twiddling there fingers doing nothing. With my old functions band we used to test ourselves how efficient we could be (sounds like a mass produced Japanese outfit 😂), our best was 12 mins for an eight piece. Get efficient and you can get in anytime i.e. when the bride needs the loo
  13. First ever funk vinyl I got at 16, the album blew my mind and I still have it today! Generally didn't like the latter EWF disco stuff although began to appreciate it with age - but their first album is f.o.n.k.y. This is one hell of a Bad tune...like funk techno!
  14. Slinky on every level and a fine bit of Bootsy dirt groove on this old classic 🤩
  15. That’s a convincing faker 😂😂😂
