1. "...bumpety-bumpety-bumpety-bump" (too much time on my hands!)
2. aha! I've been searching for my new look! Thanks guys, I think I've found it!
3.
I also have 'the gift of time'(52) and took up the Bass from scratch in April
*phew* we should start a club! Turning 52 next month! Back playing for the last 2 years after a 20 year break... why did I stop? Welcome Lowfreq - just won't find a better bunch 'o people than around these here parts. Shaun
4. Just checked the Markbass site and the SA450 (for example) is 3.4 in x 14.5 in x 11.9 in - which would be the internal dimensions of the bag (just measured and you may get away with 4" x 15" x 12", so unless your 2U amp has removable rack ears, that would be a nope.
5. Gone the way of the rack mount, so this may as well go to a good home. Heavy duty bit 'o kit, in good nick, like new. It's the larger of the 2 bags for the SA450, SD800, TA501, TA503 and R500, but I kept my Little Mark II in it and it was a nicely padded home for it. Pocket for kettle lead etc. and handy shoulder straps if you're looking for an MB branded rucksack! Thomman are flogging them for £60.00 shipped, so how's about £35.00 + P+P?
6. What can I add? Yet another bloody nice bass player that bought my Bag End cab. A pleasure to do biz with - highly recommended! Shaun
7. Bump for price drop
8.
Great looking bass; the USA models don't come up on here too often, so it's really nice to see one.. Good luck with the sale!
+1 if I had the dosh, this is the 5-ver I'd buy - best o' luck with the sale.... needs a good home.
9. Hey Nick, ...how come you have a conservatory exactly the same as mine? :-) Good luck with the sale... guys, this is a great bass - snap his arm off (you get to meet Holly the were-hound too!) Shaun
10. Just a thought... Would it be too much of an imposition for someone to do a rough tracing of a standard P-bass scratchplate and somehow send it to me? Scan/email simplest...? Even a good overhead pic may do the job - I can scale it up if you had a ruler or summit as a standard... [email protected] Eternally grateful...
11. Happy New Year all! My Valenti P-Bass (Number 5) scratchplate - blue pearl - has a few dings and I'm thinking of changing the colour. However, I don't know if the plate is standard P-bass or a custom one-off. I have emailed Nino and he can't remember. He gets them from AllParts, whether custom or standard. So, without stripping the old one off, removing pots etc. to draw a template, does anyone know (or have) a standard template drawing/tracing/file so I can check whether I'm looking at custom or standard? cheers, Shaun

...just bought a MB 151HF from him - very understanding and great communication throughout. Highly recommended!
13. Great bit of kit - http://www.overwater.co.uk/Bag_End.htm ...or search through Bag End's site: http://bagend.com/ 8 0hms, 200w Continuous, 400w peak, 50-4kHz, 44 lbs (20kg), 18.5x18.5x15.5 inches Gigged a couple of times but as new - includes the cat hairs in the photo! - has huge sound and bottom end for such a small, light cab. I reckon shipping would be around £10-15 £275.00 + p&p

Pretty and famous... and quite possibly the finest instrument I've ever owned.
15. Just bought the Valenti off Lee which proves him to be completely mad. Which is great for me! Thoroughly recommended chap to deal with - kept in touch throughout. Nuff said.
16. The missus is upgrading her keyboard amp/combo(s) so these are going spare. 1. Carlsbro Colt Keyboard 100 - 15" + horn, 3 channel + real spring reverb (ooh!) £85 2. Carlsbro Cobra K115 - 15" + horn, 3 channel (1 with XLR so ya can sing-a-long) + cover £85 Both older combos, but fully functional. On the heavy side so collection/meet only. Can post pics if you want, but will email 'em on request.
Glad you like it mate. Was playing with Roddy Radiation from the Specials at the weekend.......he reckons I'm mad for parting with it, I reckon he's right!
I reckon you're right! (hang on... I'm oh so glad you did!) It is a superb bass. Nuff said... and thank you Lee!
18. ...is this collection only? Or would you consider couriering? Rabbit Transit? ^_^
