Feedback for sk8

Just received my new Little Big Muff - fast delivery and spot on comms - highly recommended dude! ...obviously so he can buy/try more pedals - which means more for us! ;-) Shaun
7. Just sold my BCB-30 and 3 pedals to Dan. Instant payment and friendly banter throughout. Painless. Nice bloke and recommended. Shaun
8. Hey Paul, They don't take PayPal and I don't like emailing Credit Card details so I called him direct (5 hours difference at the mo, but changing on the weekend as we go into BST). Or you can fax details: 001-773-871-9637. Having dealt with a few people at Lakland now, I must say they are all so helpful - even Dan takes the time. Shaun
9. I just heard from Brian at Lakland that they have their new straps in stock. Only US$25 - each! This from Brian: "Way back, you had asked me to contact you when we got restocked with straps. Well, we finally got restocked with not only the standard black straps, but also with some nice ivory straps - (actually they're ivory on the woven fabric part of the strap and then more of a tan color on the leather end pieces)" I've ordered one of each - I asked if they were adjustable as I use around 115cm hole-to-hole and he says: "The straps have a standard leather loop/length adjusting scheme that you see on many standard issue guitar straps, and you should have no problem adjusting it to a length that suits you." US$12 shipping and he sent 'em today! I'll post some pics when they arrive as they don't have any yet! Haven't even made the website as of now. Contact details: [email protected] or phone: 773-871-9650 (there would be an 001 in front) cheers Shaun Tell him I sent ya!
10. Updated to be sold as separates... :-)
11. Seems I'm only using the overdrive and I'm not happy with that sound, so this little lot is for sale (now as separates). 15. Fab bloke to deal with! Flawless purchase - kept me up to speed at all times - highly recommended! ShaunB
16.
I have replaced the pickups and preamp from my Lakland 55-94 so the old p'ups and electronics are surplus to requirements. May suit a project build. The pre is vol(push/pull active)-blend-bass-treb-mid with coil tap. Some string wear on p'ups £90 delivered
Pray tell, what have you replaced 'em with and how has that improved the sound? Shaun
17.
Cheers anyway. Looks like you have very modern set up with Laklands and Markbass. How does the 4-94 compare with the 44-02? from the blurb on the website it looks like the US built stuff is of superior build quality but is it worth the price difference? Cheers Graham
PM'd...
18.
Hi I know I'm a bit late, but I've just discovered Laklands, Presume it's been sold by now? Cheers Graham
yep, Si took it off my hands... Goof luck getting one - they are as good as they say... I upgraded to a 4-94 and have a 55-01D coming in.
19. ...pending payment? :-) Have a bump for the Yammie on me.... (v. happy)
20. hmmmm, what does it mean when the only band name I recognise is Tool? (shrinks back into the 70s)
21. Sold him my Markbass bag - effortless transaction. Good bloke, highly recommended. Shaun
22. Try this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...A:IT&ih=015
23. Pretty nifty guitar hanger on that rig... of course when you've set it up, you'd never be able to bend down and pick up yer bass...
24. I can't believe this hasn't gorn! If it's anywhere near as good as my Number 5, then it has to have a home... woulda been this home at that price if it had a maple neck *sigh* I would ask why you're selling it, but you're a bass player... [more gear!] Good luck, Shaun
