As I bought the amp via your ebay store I submitted a claim through Ebay as the item was defective - you did accept the return request so they've provided me with a returns postage label and I sent the amp back to you myself today. It should be with you tomorrow at which point I should receive my refund. You had agreed to arrange a Jan 3rd collection before your Christmas closedown.

I love the Cerulean Blue - so want one !

I picked up a Squier Affinity strat (made in Indonesia) off Ebay for £40 and I was playing it against my American Professional yesterday and there wasn't much in it in terms of tone. Utterly amazing value for money - so much so I've just bought an Affinity tele which I also love too.

Yes I was definitely using the active input - I tried an Ibanez SR1400 first which was bad enough and then my Lodestone which caused a vibration which was utterly horrific. I twiddled with the gain and volume for hours hoping to find the right balance ( I really wanted this to work) but to no avail. Maybe inconsistent build quality, but this one is definitely a lemon.

I've just bought a new Shergold Masquerader guitar and I love it - such a cool design. -
I just got one too and its going back as it was really poor. The case buzzes like crazy if you play an 'E' with an active bass. Great concept , terrible execution. Even at £230 its not worth it for me if it can't handle the low end. Maybe if you pay £600 it'll come with a Phil Jones Double Four so you have something you can play your bass through while you accompany the tracks streaming from your phone ! It's the present that ruined Christmas for me

I'm not so happy today . Playing an active bass(E string) through it at less than half volume and the vibration in the cabinet is ridiculous. Its coming from the side rather than directly from the speakers. I've contacted Ashdown for a response but it's taking any joy out of playing. I'm not sure if I've got a defective unit but it was supposedly delayed while it was checked by an engineer before it was posted. If I'd paid £600 I'd be livid.

Glad its as good as you were hoping !

I'm just awaiting delivery of a B-Social as a practice amp. It's features look fantastic and hopefully the sound will match. I did own a CTM-15 head previously and the hiss when you turned the gain up was utterly horrible and a problem experienced by numerous users having googled the issue. It's long sold now but I seem to recall getting no response from customer service having emailed the issue more than once.

Getting back on topic - the instruments are worth what people will pay for them. I recently saw a Ken Smth sell on ebay for £1140 and then a few weeks later it was on here for £2000 .
