I use one of them silicone rings. Does the job, never liked wearing a metal one, it always felt heavy.

I think its a mixture of both in some cases and for ease of change overs on the line-ups etc when it's 15 minutes or sometimes less.

Hi all. I am increasingly doing more originals gigs lately where we are equipment sharing or using house cabs. This means I need a head as I have previously been using an FRFR speaker with a Helix. However I just want a power amp to let the helix do the talking. I asked my mate about the "unsigned guide" and he said it wasn't worth the pay. Google seems to yield very little and I get no responses from the ones it does show Whats the secret?

Hi folks. I'm expecting a good tax rebate this year and so would like to invest in some moulded in-ear monitors. I've seen these online https://www.pmtonline.co.uk/proguard-custom-p2-1-precision-in-ear-monitors However I can't seem to find much information. If anyone knows about these or have any other suggestions for where to look i'd appreciate it. Ideally not looking to go into the really high end of thousands of pounds with this. Have been using cheap shure ones which are okay but I'd like to improve the quality as I feel I will be getting more use from them with upcoming gigs specifically going ampless. Thanks in advance.
