In my defence... I also have the 5 string version

I have the 4 and 5 string versions of the American Professional II Fender Jazz, I have to say there isn't a HUGE amount of difference in how they sound if you disregard the Low B, unless you're slapping, at which point the 4 string comes to life.

I haven't been on much other than lurking over the last few months, so wanted to drop by and say HEY and 'Merry Christmas!' to everyone. I've not long finished by first term at Uni (For those who don't know I'm doing the BA Hons in Music with Bass at ACM in Birmingham) and it's been a wild ride with a steep learning curve, but I'm LOVING it. I've already learnt so much and I've barely even started. I've even started listening to/playing JAZZ. What the hell...
