1.
Can the pants be worn and unwashed? Asking for a friend.
Not a problem, they've not been washed for the last 6 months!
2. I did a review on these last year, but I've decided that it's finally time to part company with my Sandberg boxer shorts, as much as love these boxes I've got my eye on something else. These are pretty well designed and finished to say that they are mass produced in some Chinese factory and not hand made by a small European or US boutique manufacturer. They are nice and light, and made from 95% premium lightweight cotton which will certainly help "the wood!" breath, with 5% elastane and extra room in the crotch, although I must admit to finding the nut spacing not quite to my liking. Machine washable at 30oc and double white go faster strips around the top for that added styling. The finish is faultless, a deep, almost translucent black, with absolutely no threads to be seen, double stitched and one size fits all, it really is quite remarkable build quality, and the attention to detail is second to none. These have been well gigged and all the stains you'd expect for that authentic roadworn look! These very fashionable, well designed boxer shorts, are surely a bargain at £850, and I'll even throw in my custom made Sandberg California TT with ebony fretboard which I only took delivery of last July. 3. If have this rig, 500watts into 212 speakers at a silly light weight, it's the only rig I've kept for more than 6 months, highly recommended!

5. I understand the reasons for the raised A pole, but what years did Fender do this on their vintage precisions, I've read that they stopped routinely using them in 1959, but also have seen precisions with them on as late as in 1964, as well as slab necks still being used in 1964, was it just a case of using up old stock, or did all these changes happen over a long period of time with old pieces of hardware being used a few years after their planned changes? More of an evolution rather than a revolution!!!
6. I could also put some cash towards a trade against a top quality P bass.
7. I had the 102 combo and really liked it, very loud, very light and portable. I swapped it for the markbass 121p combo and NY extension cab which gives me the 500 watts into 2x12 speakers and a little more flexibility. I often think back and wonder whether the 102 was actually a better rig! Can't go wrong with markbass stuff, and if you find the sound a little sterile (which it can) stick a valve drive pedal into your signal and you have the best of both worlds.
8. Hi Tina So sorry to hear about your dad, he certainly did have great taste in basses, this is certainly the type of bass that get on my radar!

10. Interesting status, weren't these quite expensive when they were new, not sure what's going off with the pots though? http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=131712923562&globalID=EBAY-GB
11. A bass guitar should only ever have four strings......

17.
Mine is a pink sparkle 1997 and that does.
Mmmmmmmmmm.....pink sparkle......
18. I think its definitely a sonic hammer, the top horn is too long for a flea, and the lower horn is pointed too!
19. If I didn't already have a black flea bass I would be snapping this beauty up. Have a bump for a beautiful bass indeed
20. Pretty daft having two of the same bass, if you ask me you should have a minimum of three of your favourite axe....!!!!!! 😬
21. These are great pedals, the only reason not to own a VT-1 is if your going to get a VT-2 instead!
22. I have a bit of post Christmas cash that the wife doesn't know about hidden away which I intend to splash out on some new guitar leads, the ones I currently have I got given to me a few years ago and arnt that great. It gotta be done stealthily as I've spent rather too much over the last 12 months on bass gear so on line purchases are out! My local store has got some fishman which are pretty darn expensive, larva retro coil which look pretty good, also some George L solder-less cables, also some D'Addario kill switch...any thoughts, I'm leaning towards the larva retro coils but need convincing!
23. Just bought an EBS Valve Drive DI from col, excellent condition and very fast delivery, deal with confidence.
