  1. Back in 1976😁 Bass and hair!. Was a good bass, pickups let it down. Neck and general feel if the bass was quite Wal like....I did have a Wal 10 years later.
  2. This is a new product by GR bass. Can't comment on it as I haven't seen or tried one. https://www.grbass.com/portfolio/pocket/
  3. Best cab I've owned in 47 years of playing. Sad you didn't get one. I similarly can't get a mesa d350 in the UK till at least sometime next year😥
  4. I've had Roqsolid covers, I found they wore out. HotCovers are better quality..IMHO. I believe Barefaced covers are made by HotCovers.
  5. MXR M80 compressor for sale only. £90 delivered in the UK. Works perfectly, 2 small marks on paint, see photos. I don't have original box, but will include instructions printed from the internet. Pedal has velcro on the back.
  6. Good luck, they are very nice basses....I have NYC jazz and no buzz, but preamp lookis physically different and is mounted different too.
  7. I think the noise you're getting is exactly what I was getting. Only when you intrduce the rear pickup (mixed with P or solo) do you get the buzz. It's the rear pickup cavity's proximity to the preamp I'm sure. Don't think you'll need to swap out the pickup unless for other reasons. You can shield the rear cavity without removing the pickguard....might be wirth a try first. Make sure screening is earthed...I stuck foil to the metal underside of the pickup, didn't need any soldering. Strings of coarse are personal taste...is your bass a 5 string? I didn't like the TI B string, its a thick old rope with poor definition. I much prefered Labella low tension flats
  8. Which amp is it for, they were different sizes? I have an iAmp500 bag I dont use.
  9. I have same bass and stopped the buzz by shielding the rear pickup cavity with foil tape, its silent now. I also got the shielded scratchplate and I rerouted the pickup wires away from the preamp..,which was also replaced so active/passive were the same volume.
  10. I replaced the jack on my NE2...watch there is a dropper resistor under some heatshrink
  11. Also 4 ohm minimum working....no 2 ohm. It has a bright switch rather than a deep switch, but has usb power outlet
  12. TORT for me😊but it's what you like that matters.
  13. There are no cooling fans, the case is one big heatsink. I've been inside it. Baby Sumo 600 watts.
  14. It is fanless, I have one, nice and quiet for home use. Mesa d800+ preamp di seems to drive it ok. There are 1k and 1.2k versions also available now
  15. Just for info, the Mesa TT has tube processing on both channels
  16. I've been using my 210 and 112H for over a year now...one or two gigs a week and haven't had any disasters yet. I do carry in my own car and I'm careful.....I do see why some people are concerned about damage, especially the corners. I just don't know what I would buy if there were serious problems with the construction. I like the sound so much I would be looking at the wood GR bass cabs I think. However, all good so far, you just have to be careful, as I am with my basses.
  17. I also use a subway d800 with a d800+ di just now. Very happy with them. Was looking at the One1400 as a potential replacement for my backup amp, a Baby Sumo that can only run one cab at 4 ohms. The Sumo is great and was bought as a silent no fan amp for use at home and does the job well, but can't run 2 ohms. One1400 can have fans switched off for home use. The Mesa stuff is great, but can't buy them just now due to parts shortage.
  18. I was mistaken and confused like you. Apparently the duel is a single power amp, 1400 watts at 4 ohms. The One 1400 is 2 separate power amps, 700 watts each at 4 ohms, so can drive 2 x 4 Ohm cabs. I've been looking at this to drive my 4 ohm At210 and 4 ohm At112h
  19. Guy Trigg from Tricky Audio is on Facebook, you could try there. In my experience, he builds nice cabinets.
  20. MOSCOWBASS

    Cab Riser

It's a mike splitter bar that screws into the threaded insert on top of the stand. Stand height adjusted so bar stops amp sliding off

    Cab Riser

Post above https://on-stage.com/products/view/11181 This is good. Mike splitter bar screws on top of pole to stop amp falling off.
