  1. Up for sale is a guitarbuild.Co.uk Cabronita Telecaster body in unknown wood, weighing in at 2.2kg. It’s been stained abut doesn’t appear to have been sealed. These list at £85 so thought £40 shipped sounded fair but really just hoping someone fancies putting it to some use.
  2. Could it be that a simple truss rod tweak for heavy gauge strings is required? They’re not great at handling heavy strings if not set up right.
  3. Very true. Can't even sell used flats for £15. Very odd times and nothing will shift.
  4. They need to learn how to string a bass too. 🤮 at that stringing…..
  5. Another member of the family. A rather fetching and slightly rare Ferrari red 1991 4003 in near mint condition. Goes well with my 1980 4001. Maybe a white one would look nice in the middle.... Note to self. Tidy the office room.
  6. If you wait long enough it'll be free as it's been reduced from £899 to £499 then to £375.
  7. Up for sale are 4, what I assume to be rotosound, flat wound strings taken from a 62 reissue fender jazz. Great strings, cut to 34" 4 in a line length with plenty of silks still on. Gauge 100-40. £15 includes UK postage. In reality, I just hope that someone wants these otherwise they’re off to the bin……
  8. Up for sale some flat wound strings I believe are D'Addario. Scale cut for a Ric bass so 2 a side. Doubt there's enough on for 4 in a line headstock. Gauge meausures 100-40. £15 includes UK postage. in reality I’m just hoping that someone wants some used flats before they end up in the bin
  9. Hi. It is still available. I found it in the garage the other day and wondered what it was! Cheers Vin
  10. This is a classic mixed message. Have a free bump from me but don’t sell it, you’ll regret it. I regretted selling one I had from new in 2017 and it took me a while to track down another. These are amazing basses......
  11. I see it has especially easy access to the dusty end of the neck.
  12. 1000 instalments?
  13. One piece Alder jazz bass body weighing in at 2.4kg with bpot bridge and some standard strap buttons. Came off a parts bass trade that I decided to part out so don’t know the origin of the body but the seller said possibly NW guitars. On that basis and with no ide where to pitch the price i thought I’d start at £75 but offers invited. Can be collected on the Wirral or will post anywhere for p&p cost. Thanks for looking
  14. Received with a bass in a trade but not required so up for sale. Collection or a meet up within 50 miles of Bidston on The Wirral would be best as postage is probably prohibitively expensive. Harley Benton foam / semi-rigid bass case in excellent condition - even with silica gel still in so must be newish.
  15. Up for sale from a bass broken for parts is a fully functioning set of Dimarzio DP123 bass pickups. These are the traditional sizes with a shorter (3.6") neck and a longer (3.75") bridge pickup. Neck reading is 6.6kOhm, neck is 6.7kOhm so nicely matched. These are also hum cancelling. Will post anywhere.
  16. Received in a trade and I just cannot get used to fretless no matter how hard I try so this Status P width unlined fretless neck is up for sale. It has to be said it is incredibly smooth - unlike some of the sticky finishes I've had on Status necks before - and is absolutely sublime to play. It is equipped with Hipshot Ultralite tuners and has been correctly drilled / countersunk in standard Fender configuration. 43mm at the nut, 20.3mm depth, 63.5mm width at the heel. Comes with Fender neck plate with plastic protector pad and correct neck screws for the holes. Will ship it anywhere or it can be collected on the Wirral. I could also meet up within 50 miles or so.
  17. They're only very subtly different obviously. Apart from one rosewood board and one maple.......
  18. PMT have now listed that bass pictured as a Roger Waters sig P. Kudos to Ash Oddly the original ad is still there with the same pics.
  19. And back up again.
