Up for sale or trade with cash my way is my 2009-10 US Fender Precision Highway 1 in nitrocellulose black with smooth satin maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and black pickguard. It has a badass 2 bridge as standard but has EMG Geezer Butler solderless pickups fitted for extra growl. It also has the original pickups with it. It came with chips and dings so has been refinished in its original colour of nitro gloss black. It’s also had a fret level, crown & polish, lemon oil fretboard treatment and has a new set of rotosound round nickel 45-105s. The relief, action and intonation have all been set. The neck has been shimmed to get the action super low and now the bass looks, plays and sounds fantastic. It has no dings anywhere and only has one imperfection - it has had different tuners at one point so has extra screw holes in the back of the headstock. It’s nice and light at just under 4kg and measures 41.5mm at the nut. It’s a very playable P bass neck especially with the satin neck finish. If I was still gigging, this would be my main bass - it is superb. I can ship it anywhere, can deliver or meet up within 75 miles of Chester.

Up for sale is my superb 1999-2002 Crafted in Japan Fender Precision PB62 1962 reissue in a beautifully aged white body, nicely aged maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It’s got virtually no fret wear, plays and sounds wonderful and is currently strung with new 45-105 rotosounds. There are one or two small surface marks, the worst near the upper strap pin but that’s very very minor for a 20 year old bass. It weighs in at a respectable 4.3kg and measures 42.5mm at the nut. The gloss on the back of the neck has been knocked back slightly with zero grade wire wool for a smoother feel. The fretboard has been treated with lemon oil and the bass has been fully set up. Comes in a padded gig bag. Will post anywhere or can deliver or meet up within 60 miles of Chester. No trades at the moment. Probably. Possibly........oh go on then, try me...... Thanks for looking.

Up for sale is my 05 / 06 Made in Japan Fender Jaguar deluxe bass in hot rod red with matching headstock. It features active 2 band preamp, parallel / series switching, pickup on / off switching, volume / tone controls and active / passive switching. In passive mode you can still choose parallel / series switching, use the pickup on / off switches and volume / tone controls. In active mode you can use the lot so the tones you can get are pretty widespread to say the least. I love it in active / parallel as it sounds huge. It’s had a full set up; fret level, crown, polish, fingerboard clean / lemon oil, intonation / action set and has new rotosound 45-105 nickels on it. It also has an upgraded high mass fender bridge as one of the original threaded saddles was seized. It plays and sounds great, has jazz width nut and weighs in about 4.5kg. It comes with a fender gig bag and has schaller strap buttons / locks. It has had a bit of damage to the bottom edge which is not visible from the front. It has three areas of lost paint and has a small 1” split in the top of the wood. This has been stabilised with tite bond and is fine apart from its obvious aesthetics..... That’s the reason for a lower than normal price as the deluxe Jags seem to get advertised around £750. Can ship it anywhere insured with UPS, can deliver within 75 miles of Chester or can be collected. Thanks for looking.

Trade possible for basically anything Fendery. Could be Jazz or P, Mex, Jap with cash my way or USA. Would prefer a USA deluxe P or J. Up for grabs is my 2008 (not 2011 as originally stated) USA Musicman Stingray in natural gloss finish with waxed maple neck. It’s in superb condition with only a few small dings to the top of the headstock and one small surface impression to the left of the pickup. This is the 2 band eq version which, according to many on this very parish, is preferred to the 3 band. It does sound and play brilliantly after its new strings and set up. It’s just had a full pro set up including minor fret level (it didn’t need much off), fret re-crown and polish, relief set, new bone nut, new rotosound 45-105 strings, intonation set and action set nice and low. The neck has also been cleaned and re-waxed and it is so smooth to play. There are a few minor indentations on the back of the neck but barely noticeable. Weighing in at 4.2kg and with a 43mm nut width, it’s a fantastic classic sounding Stingray and comes with Schaller locking strap buttons, the original Musicman case and strap locks will be included. I will ship it insured in the UK with UPS or it can be collected. I could also deliver it within 75 mile radius of Chester. I can ship it abroad but will be extra. Thanks for looking.
