1. Bought a pedal, received a pedal. All good, cheers.
2.
The review was from the link I posted - not my words but stuff that I did notice but said so much more eloquently than I could have. Im seriously thinking about another one (currently using a Basswitch for preamp/eq/di) as my drive unit - might be a good choice as they are really solid.
Cheers for that, I've been enjoying mine for some time, will be looking at it in a new light now
3.
My 1989 Japanese Fender 50's Telecaster
Nice! Wish mine was as mint as yours! 4. Sure, it does look good by all accounts. Thanks for the reply. I should really expand on what I said too, given that it's programmable and leaning on the digital side, I'm wondering if that affects the natural tone of the instruments like many high end digital pedals do? It's not something everyone notices, but I do and it's my pet hate!
5. *** I tried one, see my later post of you're interested**** I'm thinking about buying a Source Audio Programmable EQ, but wonder if anyone has any experience of using them on bass? How are they? The programmable feature draws me to it, that's an essential for why I'm looking, and they are a £100 at Thomann so I'm getting ready to pull the trigger.... Thanks.
6.
. C'mon, somebody try an Offer on me!
Yeah, c'mon somebody, drop the man an offer!!! Those pot codes are the wrong ones to date it, but if I'm not mistaken I can see 7504, maybe another 7 and the bit before obscured? So, therefore could be CTS and from 4th week of 75. Either way, it's not a big deal on a players bass is it? Shots of the underside of the pickup would be much more useful though. Obviously looks like a well used bass, the red in the sunburst has faded nicely so it's had a ton of exposure that matches the natural relicing. This could make a great players bass for someone who likes the feel of a well worn bass that has some 70's mojo. Any idea of the weight David?
7. Owen bought a strap from me, easiest sale and perfect gent.
8.
This is pretty much my perfect bass. I really hope you sell it quickly before I do some thing stupid GLWTS
Cheers Kempy, I hear that Would be nice to sell it quick, it sure is teasing me having it around. I really can't justify owning a Jazz Bass anymore but everytime I see it my mind goes bonkers!!
9. I'm with Chris B about the Tonehammer, great pedal. Also, the right compressor can give you a fuller and warmer tone. New pickups aren't always the answer.
10.
Hi folks looking for a bit of help I have a nice old '64 Epiphone Rivoli. It sounds and plays great but the tuners are really slipping these days. I wondered if there was a new alternative so I wouldn't need to drill any new holes or anything? The existing tuners are the smaller slimmer shaft nickel 'Kluson' - I'd guess - types. Thanks!
Clive Brown would be the man to ask first. He is the finest guitar restorer in this country, bar none. [email protected]
11. Always nice to get a super quick turnaround. It's probably coming on the same shipment as my new Lull pickguards, though somehow I get that feeling that you're going to be the happier punter that day!
12. If I'm right, the Zoom will bring the bass up to line level so the mixer will get a decent signal. The rest is then up to the PA. Edit, looks like the B2.1u unit has the DI option. Still worth a try though perhaps. Hopefully you'll get a better answer soon.

discreet

It's been my pleasure to buy a pedal from Mark, not because it's a cool pedal, but because the PM's enabled me to confirm what I already suspected.....that Mr Discreet is a genuine, neighbourly, warm hearted, bass passionate and all round good guy. And of course, communication was spot on, delivery very speedy and an easy transaction all round. Great chatting with you pal, until the next time.
14.
As new boxed bar Velcro on base. These are just silt the best pedal tuners Price includes postage to Mainland UK
I'll have this thanks. Please could you pm me payment details. Cheers!
15.
But still, for me, it's money well spend.
Exactly, is there a cooler pre CBS than a custom colour?!! Great that it sounds nicer too. Such a good move you've made, enjoy!
16. Congratulations! Absolutely stunning
17. Looks a gem Gary, GLWTS, this is going to raise some pulses!
18. Cheers Jo, and your magic fingers sounded pretty good too
19. The adhesive may react though....
20. That's a great mod. Just a friendly heads up, be careful that it doesn't leave an impression in the pickguard, these old ones can mark from pressure, you may already see that where the pickup cover and original thumbrest go.
21. I last sold these in 2006 and the head looked just like on the website... http://www.tokai-guitars.co.uk/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=115&category_id=6&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=31 I wouldn't trust a 'sue happy' guy.
22. As well as this being a very cool bass, it's always so much fun to have a vintage Fender bass in this condition. Opening that case....
23. That'd be my Ozark acoustic. Had it since i was 16, it's seen many a beach and the gig bag is great for having a nap on. Edit - acoustic bass of course...
24.
I will take it. PP?
Thanks Owen, I'll PM am you.
