  1. Thank you mate! Yes there was always going to be a low B there, let’s face it! 😂 Thanks mate! Everyone is doing it just for exposure so we’re fine in that department! …Just kidding. We’re confident we can make it pay, as the clientele we are targeting would be able to afford it 😂 Very kind of you, thanks!
  2. This is precisely the kind of thing I was looking for. Thanks so much for taking the time to write this out. We are self contained for the most part, with the PA and sound equipment supplied by Kev (the aforementioned Welsh Wizard!) but will be hiring in the lighting on a per gig basis. Thanks again for your insight - very valuable info.
  3. A friend of mine came to me at the beginning of the year with an idea for a new "Soul" themed show/band. 17pc band including 4 vocalists, 4 horns, and 3 strings, as well as 2 keys, bass, drums, guitar and percussion, and some dancers in addition to that - Basically a full on production! All the classics from Stevie Wonder, Chic, Marvin Gaye, Earth Wind and Fire, etc. I got in touch with some of the most talented musicians that I know, and everyone I contacted was up for it. Happy days! We had Kev, our resident Welsh Wizard (and coincidentally, our guitarist) arrange a medley, and then we got together and filmed it at the end of May. The audio was all recorded live on the day (no miming here!) and subsequently mixed by Kev, and we had a 2 man crew in to film us, and then I edited the video. The first time that we all played together as a band was the day the Promo was recorded, as it was super hard to arrange any rehearsals due to Covid. Considering this, I'm super chuffed with how it came out. The idea of the show is that it is a complete entertainment experience. A host, 3 course meal, DJ after the show etc. "A Night To Remember!" as our tagline says. We're playing on NYE at Porchester Hall in London. We will also be available for corporate events and functions. You can find out all the details about the show and members of the band, as well as book tickets (if you feel so inclined) on our website. Sorry for the self promotion, just wanted to share something that I'm really proud of. It was a really valuable learning experience putting something like this together, having always just been the bass player in the past. Also my new NYC Sadowsky P Bass sounds lovely, so I wanted to share it with you lovely lot! Haha! Any and all feedback and questions gladly received, I would love to hear your thoughts on the video, website, and the brand overall, as a product.
  4. Told you it was good! Wish I could’ve held onto it, but the reality is, I hardly ever used it when I had it, and now I have tons of Phasers in the Stomp so it wasn’t needed. Enjoy!
  5. Great condition, few scuffs on the bottom, but otherwise very tidy. With official Mesa cover. £700 + postage, or collected from Brentwood.
  6. Barely used and as new, Fender Rumble 800 head. £420+postage, or can be collected from Brentwood.
  7. Echo Clone, Akai Headrush sold. Quasar DLX on hold
  8. They are very different beasts. From what I remember this doesn’t get as “wet” sounding. I always used it for its autowah as opposed to envelope, a role which is now filled by my Subdecay Prometheus. But the Bass Auto Q was a fun pedal, with it’s ability to blend between envelope and LFO
  9. Had a couple of these in the past. Always been tempted by another but my filter needs are covered at the moment. Great pedal
  10. I will send you a PM here on this site
  11. I emailed you yesterday! Cheers
  12. Echo Clone is still available. I’ll send you an email shortly! Drivemaster is still here! Send me a PM and we can sort out the details if you want it!
  13. There's a few things it's not brilliant at, but the number of things it is good at, far outweighs the things it isn't. I wasn't particularly keen on the octave effect so I kept my Octamizers, but the amp sims, cabinet sims, EQs, drives, modulation, delays, reverbs, plus eliminating the need for a DI and tuner make it a must have for me. Stereo outs, a couple of FX loops to integrate some of your other pedals, AND the possibility of MIDI control if you fancy going that way - It really is a super useful and well thought out product. The way my setup has evolved, I probably could have done it cheaper if I just went with the HX Rack and a controller at the beginning. But what started out as a pretty compact setup with the Stomp, soon evolved into a MIDI controlled monster. By combining it with some of my other pedals, and the ML5/MC8 combo from Morningstar, I can program presets, or turn individual pedals on and off, as well as control different settings, presets and patches in the Stomp, all from one pedal.
  14. The Stomp actually has balanced outputs so no DI box needed at all! Just a TRS cable. I use a TRS to XLR adaptor I made, but a normal TRS cable will also function the same way.
  15. Thank you mate! It’s by a company called Schmidt Array. The model I use is the SA450. They’re expensive but I haven’t come across anything else with the features/quality on offer!
  16. Now run an octave pedal into the P&C with the clean signal off and just the -1 Octave. You're welcome
  17. They work great, even with an amp. Before I went solely to IEMs, using the Backbeat meant I could turn my amp down a little bit as I could "feel" the bass more, making everyone on stage a bit happier. Unfortunately for the audience, they still got to hear me! 😜
  18. If I didn’t have one already, I would be. It’s an awesome pedal to have in your arsenal. Especially for the synthy style textures, which should be right up your street! 😂
  19. Bought and sold one of these. Regretted it and bought one again as soon as I was able. Great pedal and not much else out there like it. Add and octave and filter and you’re golden!
  20. Had one for a while. Great filter! Nice job mate, sounds excellent. Nice Sadowsky too!
  21. Up for sale is an excellent condition Bergantino Forté amp head. Owned from new, and not had much use (especially in the last year! 🤣). They are £950 from Bass Direct, so grab a bargain at £800 £700. 4 Band EQ Onboard Compressor Aux In and Headphone Jack Effects Loop DI Out with Pre/Post switch 700W RMS at 4 Ohms, 800W RMS at 2 Ohms 6lbs Can be collected from Brentwood, Essex or can be posted at cost.
