  1. They've arrived at Bass Direct now, if anyone wants a spare cable or clip. I spoke to them yesterday and the app will be 'a few months'
  2. Not when you scale the bass up to match the regular scale length
  3. Here you go, Mustang is scaled to compensate. Pickup is a bit further forward.
  4. Thanks! It's a great sound, and really useful, it goes with so many things because it can be quite subtle if you play really lightly. The band is called MICHELLE, they're brilliant, some tasty basslines. Here's the album: The track I'm playing is called Looking Glass, and I used the Moises app to remove their (better) bassline.
  5. Despite everything, the humble Bassballs remains one of my favourite pedals to play. And I say that purposely; you really have to 'play' the pedal because it reacts so much to changes in dynamics. This is an example I just recorded showing it at about 50% sensitivity where you can get a nice synthy sound from it, and during the chorus I run it into an octave (it sounds better with the octave first but I was being lazy) This version in particular I really like because it has a far more open sound than my others, and partly because it's really rare to have a green one with the big footswitch. Anyway I hope you enjoy my filthy sounds
  6. I believe the app is coming at some point. Hope you enjoy, I love mine.
  7. I bet she'll be surprised when your best man hands you the ring modulator you agonised over
  8. I wouldn't worry if you like the sound and it plays well, as long as the frets aren't moving. You could have it addressed when it needs a refret in the future. I expect many basses from that period have frets which might not be seated perfectly but are undetected to this day because it probably doesn't matter unless one falls out!
  9. OK I've had a play. It's a really cute little pedal, and feels extremely solid and heavy. I don't have an original to compare it to, but it sounds very watery and full range. It's a six stage phaser so it's a bit less abrupt than my Phase90 and there's a slight boost when engaged, I think, which is a good thing. Certainly not a cut, anyway. There's no loss of bottom, but I'll be interested to see how it works in a mix as sometimes I find the slight shift towards a low mid focus with the phase 90 helps accentuate the sound a little. The speed dial is pretty crazy, it still does super slow shifting which is my preference but cranked up it goes absolutely crazy, which I think would sound pretty nice for shimmery guitar accents.
  10. Thanks but I think I'd be better to judge someone else's video like this guy (who's brilliant BTW!) ๐Ÿ˜„
  11. Since getting the Valco KGB pedal I've realised how important a phase switch (for the clean blend) and an impedance switch can be for crafting different sounds. As one reviewer said, "With very little linearity, the ฮฉ knob can affect attack, bloom, intensity, and decay in ways that are beautifully, chaotically unpredictable." https://valcofx.com/pages/valco-kgb-fuzz
  12. I'm expecting one of these in the post tomorrow. I love my Mutron pedals, but I found the phasors a problem because they need a 110v power supply and can't be used with batteries. This is a clone of the II circuit and uses a similar style case to the original, albeit a bit smaller. I love how they've recreated the Mutron knobs though, because they're impossible to find and expensive. Full findings when it arrives. I'm mostly using a Phase90 at the moment, although I tend to use my Russian Bassballs for a less subtle phasing sort of sound. Nonetheless this will be fund to try. I hope they do a Mutron III clone too.
  13. Get a while PG on that I reckon

    Pedalboard qs

Thanks yeah I did think about making something like a board of acrylic with holes for the feet of the pedals which could work quite well. Let's see if Temple Audio reply first.

    Pedalboard qs

Iโ€™ve asked Temple Audio if I can use longer screws and a washer to reach the plate attached to the pedal. Seems like it should be fine if they can tell me the screw thread.
  16. Can we have one thread stay on topic please?
  17. Thanks! So itโ€™s a normal strap button but with a smaller screw ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
