  1. Ben bought a Tech 21 Fly Rig from me and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Excellent!
  2. Up for sale again as I sourced a Trace Transit B multifx pedal. New price: £150 posted. Can't say fairer than that given this also includes £40-ish Tech 21 gigbag https://www.thomann.co.uk/tech_21_fly_rig_gig_bag.htm Would also trade for a Trace Elliott Elf head in vgc
  3. Bought a month or two back on the forum on the back of rave reviews about it being a super effective compressor with other bells and whistles ("The only bass pedal you need" on YouTube etc). However, after a recent splurge on Trace Elliott items I now have both an amp and main preamp that have good 2-band compressors, so I don't need this pedal any more. It's in great condition and comes with box etc. £160 posted UK or will knock a tenner off for collection in SW13 (Barnes). FYI, new price is £210-220 Photo is a bit rubbish (I took it a few weeks back to record my preferred settings) but happy to post more. Here's the previous owner's ad with his pics: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/513092-sold-jhs-pulp-n-peel-v4-preamp-di-compressor-and-od/#comment-5490901
  4. #MarriageCounsellingChat 🤣
  5. While @Beedster likes the creme pickup look, I am aware its a bit marmite. So just a reminder that I am also including the original Fender (black) pickup in case you wanted to swap out (and perhaps sell on the DiMarzio creme?) The ad from which I bought this bass shows how the original pickup looks https://fenderfever.com/products/2879
  6. Thom bought various pedalboard bits and bobs off me and all was good! Recommended BCer 😀
  7. Nice one Lozz, that's a fabulous weight and a fine looking bass. By comparison my CIJ P bass, which I thought was light at 7.6 pounds, appears to be a boat anchor, haha!
  8. Withdrawing for now as I don't want to pay close to £300 for a new Trace Transit B pedal. Going to have a go tweaking the EQ on this to see if I can get close to Trace pre-shape sound
  9. Bought a lovely Trace Elliot amp off Ian. Well packed, lovely item, all as described. Top transaction! Thanks Ian 😀
  10. @cetera is after a Soul Food (although I realise that doesn't help you sell as a job lot!)
  11. In the absence of any firm interest (apart from trade offers) I am going to withdraw this. My other basses (Spector Ian Hill and Shergold Marathon) are wearing rounds and great for pick-based rock, this offers something different with flats. Edit: above tortuous logic doesn't really apply as my Marathon is now wearing TI flats!!!! Going to re-list this
  12. Used with my old goth band (chorus v useful) and no longer needed. Very good condition and I even paid through the nose (£40 odd) for the fancy Tech 21 padded gig bag (which made travel to gigs on London tubes incredibly easy). Also comes with the PSU and slightly battered original tin. £180 posted seems more than fair given the beautious padded bag! Would also trade for vgc Trace Elliott Transit B pedal
  13. I have heard this very amp and chocolate does indeed come to mind. Gorgeous, authoritative, punchy sounding thing. As Jack says, as long as you can deal with it not being a lightweight flibbertygib of an amp, it will make someone very happy
  14. Very cool and I bet it sounds incredible ... but makes me think of chiropractor, lol
  15. Casual inquiry: would a Monza and Trace TE-1200 (800W at 8 ohms) be a disastrous match? Shame Trace don't do a less extreme powered head (unless you go all the way down to an Elf) (Edit: with my back/neck issues, I couldn't really confortably handle a Monaco ... to provide context)
  16. I just sold the Geddy Jazz so in a fit of generosity (and maybe even getting the basses collected at the same time, conveniently for me) I would take an offer of £750 to include UK delivery
