1. Hi there, its a little trim pot on the top edge (you would need a fine screwdriver to adjust it). I have to say I've never touched it. Here's the manual http://eaamps.com/UploadedPDFs/micro%20doubler%20manual%20hi%20res.pdf
2. Mike, with respect, I hardly think greyparrot was promoting Fender. I think they are capable of doing that for themselves
3.
I am genuinely interested in why greyparrot needed to make to post in the first place, and then why others were obliged to back him up.
A large proportion of my posts are written purely because I am bored or distracted at work, no deep-seated philosophical reason
4. Erm, actually I live in Barnes, Chris. So that would be a no
5. Would entertain offers close to the asking price
6.
Super amp bump
Thank you! Tis indeed a super amp but EA's seem to attract a small minority of BC's community
7. It would be great if the enthusiasm for the composition competition was also transferred to more music in the 'Recordings' forum. I put up a link a month or so back to a fabulous EP by Jigster's post-rock band Those Among Us Are Wolves and only two BCers commented. Yet there are endless pages of largely repetitive, pointless debate on Flea v Wooten, Fender vs non-Fender etc. Come on BassChat, raise your game! Ps here's TAUAW http://basschat.co.uk/topic/205809-recommended-post-rock-ep-from-bcer-jigsters-band-those-among-us-are-wolves/
8. Some really excellent stuff here. Shouldn't say what I've voted for but I will say - for me - it was a tough call between discreet's fantastic pumped up trance-come-Tangerine Dream and Steve's beautiful atmospheric six-string work. But honourable mentions for all, really top music from top to bottom of list
9. Fab, the Rev Solo will also be in the post tomoz
10. Thats great, thanks Keith I have a FC on my flatback and its very good live, especially at higher volumes. I have an Ehrlund on my Kolstein which sounds very microphone-like and hasn't let me down on a gig or rehearsal yet - but our album launch gig is too important not to have a backup pickup!
11. Hi Keith, that would be great - assuming the FC is right for your bass. Are you sure you want a Rev Solo in place of Bass Max as spare?
12. Last call or I will have to place an order for a new one?
13.
The Frog Stamp pedal is incredibly rare ...
Behringer do a cheap clone called a Toad Squish
14. They're certainly good for metal
15. I lent my spare piezo pickup, a Revolution Solo http://www.uptonbass...on-SOLO-II-RS2/ , to another BCer for six months or so and got it back last week. I had forgotten that its too large to fit the wings on my Kolstein travel bass ... and I don't fancy shaving the wood casing down. However I do want a back-up piezo wing pickup in case of problems with my Ehrlund contact pickup. So ... 1. I can offer a Revolution Solo pickup as a trade for a BassMax or Shadow SH950 2. Or failing that I would like to buy one of the aforementioned, if someone has a spare Unfortunately time is of the essence as we have rehearsals next week for our album launch gig on 8th July and I would like to test the backup pickup in a band environment. I will have to buy new if I can't sort a deal with a BCer quickly (ie, today!)
16.
Come on people, this is an amazing bass. Looks fabulous, has amazing woody tones, mwah for days, heck it even smells good!
Thanks Gareth! So ... anyone interested here?

18. Mark bought my 1963 Precision. An utter gent throughout. Clear communications, superfast payment and all conducted in the friendliest manner possible. Cheers Mark and I hope you now have "the one"!
19. The live album with DiMeola, Lucia and McLaughlin is Friday night in San Francisco http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=DvVmqnNBo9w&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DDvVmqnNBo9w
20. Steve bought some flatwound strings off me, all good, couldn't have been easier!
21. If it helps, I assume you are in Camden Rob (hence name) and the Bass Gallery must be very close - they will refret a fretless for about £200 and do a superb job
22. Addendum - I include £10 postage cost within UK. Post to mainland Europe would be about £20-25, ie, all-in cost about £390-395 to France/Germany/Belgium etc depending on fast or economy service
23. Sorry but in answer to a couple of PMs this is sale only. I already have too many amps (four) which is why this lovely piece of kit is for sale!
24. Bump. Hard to find anything as tiny as this with as much power - 2.3 pounds delivering 550W of clean, quality amplification
25. Looks like this is sold pending the usual
