5. Hi I bought these with the intent to go for a heavier gauge, 50,70,90,110, but have now decided they are toooo heavy for me so would like to swap for similar priced 40s or 45s? Let me know of anything you want to swap I would love some D Addario Slow Wounds Thanks Dave
 6.
4 ohms vs 5.3 ohms is less than a 1dB difference, nothing like a striking difference, in fact barely audible.
1dB would equate to approximately 67% increase or usage of your total remaining power as a 3dB raise is an actual doubling of amplitude, granted the average humans ear can only detect an approximate perceived increase of 23% but stlll is not a small amount. Cheers Dave
 7. Hi Whats the IQ like in comparison to the QTron? I already own a Qtron and really like it but would like a smaller pedal. Do they sound similar? Thanks Dave
im not quite sure on value £450+?? anyone???
Ive recently bought 05 s1 SunBurst with Maple neck USA for 475 in mint nick with case candy, but a mate got a Butterscotch Maple 03 s1 USA mint with case but no tags for 325. So i suppose anywhere inbetween? Dave
 18. Its a bolt on with passive precision and jazz pick ups, so it has a generic passive/ fenderish sound, nice and full blues to pokey funk. Think Billy Gould of Faith no More It has volume, volume and master tone controls so it allows for a wide variety of sounds. One miss matched knob. It has a slim fast neck and the only reason im getting rid is i have tooooo many basses and this ones rarely gets an outing but thats no reflection on the bass. There is slight scratching to the laquer in a couple of places looks more like playing, maybe plec damage, this doesnt go through the colour at all and is only seen in the right light, tried to show it in pics, couple of very small chips, one on front one dint to the rear of neck again see pics. Any trial etc. Cheers Dave
 19.
Dave may be a newbie but I've known him years and he's a top guy, so you've no worries in that respect
Cheers John
