I'm sorta after a complete package that I can use at home and whilst gigging, a small portable multi effects petal. Some people say the Zoom MS-60B isn't good for gigging as its hard to switch effects, but I wouldn't need to do this on the fly during a song. There would be a few seconds between each song

Thanks for the replies, I think I prefer Zoom to the other brands such as Behringer. I've had a few Zoom B2 units in the passed but they didn't really impress me. I like the look of the MS-60B, I think the B1on might be a bit too big and I'm trying to avoid foot pedals.

Hey guys, I'm going to look at a used SR500 today and possibly buy it if I like it, but I have a quick question about it. I remember reading somewhere to watch out for older versions pre-2010, as they were not as good. The one that I am going to see does not have the little 'mid frequency selector' flick switch on it, so I can only presume it is an older model. The serial number is 081264241 so I presume it was manufactured in December 2008. Is it still just as good? Worth buying?

What about an Ibanez SR500?

I've never understood the point of spending 4 figures on a bass, just seems unnecessary to me.

Hey guys, I've owned my Ibanez EDB500 for many years and I kinda feel like I want to change it. It's great to play but I've never been too keen on the sound, probably due to the luthite body. I've been watching this Ibanez SR500 on ebay, not too much money but was wondering if it was worth the upgrade? I can't really see much difference other than body material and passive vs active pickups. Do you think it would be worth it? Or should I just wait a while longer till I can afford something better? Thanks for any advice
