    Cioks DC7 heat?

Hi all, I'm getting quite a bit of heat from my new Cioks DC7, is this normal? I've attached my setup
  2. Hi all, I've been playing for many years but never really bothered to do anything with my music. Never learned how to use a DAW etc. All I do is layer up 'ideas' onto my RC-3 loop pedal and then just save the .wav file to my PC, for listening back. The loop pedal is before my amp, so the recording does not pick up the sound colouring that the amp gives it, when it is played out of my cab. I've just bought a Zoom H4n and I was wondering if it was possible to connected it up to my amp (TC RH750), to take the recording off there, whilst I am still able to hear the sound coming out the cab? I know I can just use the H4n's built-in mics to record, but if I'm also playing alongside it then it will pick up the acoustic noises from my playing, which I wouldn't want. Does anyone have any experience with the H4n?
  3. Thanks, I seen that but it has a female end, and I'd need to buy yet another adapter. Just wondered if there was a better solution
  4. Hi guys, Does anyone know what current adapter I need to buy for the Cioks DC7? I've already got a T-REX current doubler but I don't think this is compatible with it
  5. Yea I think so. There's so many CC options on the C4, I just wondered what others were doing. I've got one for tap tempo, no idea what I should make the other one
  6. What midi setup controls do you guys have? I'm trying to think what to set on my DMC.micro... All I've got so far is the micro scrolling through presets, holding left to bypass the C4, then I've got UTIL set up for tap tempo on the right side. But that leaves the left side, any suggestions what I should map it to?
  7. I'm having a problem with expression pedal input. I've literally no idea why this is happening! Anyone encountered it?
  8. And for that I am extremely grateful and have learned a lot.
  9. Not sure what you mean then? "Then why did you bother asking this question if you already knew the answer you wanted to believe? There’s a lot to learn from the answers and comments that were made my members here and on TB, it appears you have missed the essence of this information." What is the answer that I believe? What essence of information have I missed?
  10. Thanks for the info, I'll make sure to use a HPF
  11. Hi all, So I've got a TC RH750 paired with a TC RS212. I've just updated my HX Stomp with the 3.0 update and have been playing around with the poly effects. I really like the sound I can get with the poly pitch turned down -24 octave, playing around the 12th fret gives a really cool double-bass sound. Working through the effects, I coupled it with a Teemah distortion and a few other blocks. Sounded really nice. Turned the volume up and started blasting out that lovely low-end, to the point my ears were actually starting to feel a bit weird, like there was pressure in them (a bit like on a plane or going through a tube tunnel). This lead me to wonder, could I possibly do any damage to the paper speaker cones of my cab by playing at such a low octave at high volume? Could it rupture them? Cheers for any advice
