  2. Hi all, I'm looking for the smallest expression pedal that I can use with both my HX Stomp, and Source Audio C4. I have extremely limited space on my pedalboard so looking for one that's short & thin. I also read that only certain pedals are compatible with the Stomp? I'm not sure about the C4... I've found the Hotone Bass Press and Dunlop DVP4 to be quite small, but not sure about compatibility Thanks!
  3. Zoom MS50G guitar multieffects pedal Good condition, comes with power adapter It can be easily modified to be able to use any effect from the MS50G/MS60B/MS70CDR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ul-BYkV3PSk
  4. If it's supplying enough current and is fitted with a 3A fuse, what's the harm?
  5. Hi all, The power adapter from the stomp seems different to my standard daisy-chain 9v supply. Is there some kind of addon that I can buy so I can use my existing power supply? Would something like this work? I'm not sure whether it is center-positive or negative... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ex-Pro-DC-Adapter-2-1mm-Female/dp/B004FZ050G
  6. Zoom B3 for sale.....SOLD Good condition, pedal needs no introduction. Comes with 1.3A power supply.

  8. Hi guys, I can't decide how I'd like to have my pedalboard... I've currently got a Zoom MS70CDR, but also has lots of effects from MS50G and MS60B on it. I also have a Zoom B3 but don't use it anymore. Tbh, I love the MS70CDR - I think it sounds really good, is easy to use and has tonnes of effects. The only things that aren't great are the octave/synth tracking and distortion. So that's why I was thinking about getting a Boss OC-5 to solve the octave problem, and a Darkglass to solve the distortion problem. But after realising how much I'd be spending, I'm now wondering if I should just sell the Zoom and start again... I play a lot of funk rock, RHCP-style stuff, mixed with heavier tones like RATM and Disturbed. The Zoom does this pretty well, I've got the bass tone from Chameleon dialed in perfect! It also has loads of great ambient and modulation effects, like the envelope filters and sequential filters etc. So I guess my question is, can the HX Stomp match the Zoom in terms of quantity of effects, for bass? I've heard it's great for guitar but not amazing for bass
  9. Thanks, I was more talking about the metal ends that aren't plugged into any pedals. One of them did accidentally touch another, the pedals all lost power for a second and reset...
  10. Thanks for the v helpful replies! I've learned a lot Another stupid question... Do I have to be careful that two exposed daisy-chain plug ends never touch, when the power supply is turned on? If so, I guess I'll have to put tape around them or something.
  11. Hi all, I'm a noob with electronics. I've got this power supply, notice the polarity symbol on it - it doesn't match the symbol of that of the two pedals on the right. And the two on the left don't even have that symbol. Am I ok to use this or will it blow up my pedals? Lol

  14. Hi all, Just wondering if anyone knows what else (if anything) the DMC.micro can control on a Zoom MS, other than just scrolling through presets? Thanks
  15. I've just bought a Diago PS01
  16. Hi all, I'm after a small power supply to fit under my pedaltrain nano, but can provide juice for 5 pedals, that each need 9v 300mah. People keep telling me to get the CIOKS dc7, but I'm not spending £250 on a plug!! Does anyone have any experience with the Diago PS01?

  18. It says it comes with everything you need and PDF instructions... but I'm still skeptical. Just can't face dropping another £100 on a pedal simply to change presets
  19. Hi all, I'm considering dropping $55 on the Lizard Breath Zoom MS mod... But I'm wondering, to anyone whose done it - how easy is it? I'm not too technologically gifted! It's either this or I spend double and get the DMC.micro
  20. Well, I've just reserved a Boss OC5 - seemed like it ticket all the boxes!

  22. Thanks for the informative replies. I think I'll avoid both these pedals then. I had a look at the SY-1 but didn't like the sound
  23. Hi all, I'm trying to decide between these two octave pedals. I'm looking for one that can track to the low E (standard tuning), can handle slap and that is polyphonic. To my ears these sound very similar, and very good. Which one would you pick?
  24. Ok, so I think I may have made a mistake... lol Since ordering the MS70CDR earlier today, I've been playing with my B3 for about 2 hours -man I forgot how awesome this thing is... It's just so easy to use, everything is displayed clearly etc. I like how I can have basically 100 slots for my own patches. My only reason I wanted to change it was because: A) I wanted more effects in a chain (6 as opposed to 3) B) I wanted a smaller sized pedal C) I wanted the option to be able to change patches AND turn effects on/off using a footswitch. The MS70CDR ticks A & B, but not C. I think only the Zoom B3n ticks C. So if I want to tick C, it seems I need to buy myself a Disaster Area DMC footswitch for another £100... So that's £200 altogether with the MS70CDR. For £130, I could have bought a Zoom B3n. Heck, for £250 I could have bought a used Helix! The more videos I watch, the harder the MS70CDR looks to use (compared to the B3). I also didn't realise that it only has 25 patch slots (I've already used up around 50 slots on my B3 so far). And if I put on the other effects from the other pedals using the firmware hack, then the Tonelib software won't recognise them (although I think there is a browser-based patch editor, which is a must seeing as the pedal only only has one screen). I think my ideal scenario is, if I can accept that the B3 has a 3-effect limit (which is annoying but not the end of the world), is there any way I can use a footswitch to scroll through the patches, whilst still being able to turn off individual effects? Will the Disaster Area DMC.micro or DMC-3XL solve this problem? I already have the Digitech FS3X footswitch that I use for my SDRUM, but annoyingly it isn't compatible with Zoom devices - and I don't want to start attempting to mod my own electronics... I've already had a look at Ashbass and the mods look too complicated.
