So I've decided to sell it since I need the money. I'm located in North London and Coventry. Thanks for looking

Hey guys, I've owned my GB Shuttle 9.0 for a couple of years, but I'm looking to change it up a bit. Thinking about trading for a similarly powered lightweight amp in the same price reigon. Am I being stupid or should I just keep the amp?

Hey guys, I'm currently using a Genz Benz STL 9.0, and have been for a couple of years. Thing is, I'm frankly a bit bored with the sound, and was never reeeally that impressed with it to begin with. My old GK RB1001, at 700W, sounded better and louder than my Genz Benz at 900W. The only reason I switched was because of the weight. So, I'm wondering whether to change. I've heard nothing but good things about the TC RH450, and it sounds great. But at 450W, it's half the power of the Genz Benz. Now, some say that it can still match it in volume, but I wonder how this is possible? Can anyone confirm this? Unfortunately there is no realistic way of me trying it to find out myself. I just find the Genz Benz... lacks something... I don't know what. I've never been able to get that great funk rock slap tone that I could from my GK.... Thanks for any advice given!

Hi guys, Is the STL 9.0 speakon only? I can't seem to get my 1/4" jacks to fit. Is there an adapter I should buy? Cheers

I just bought a Stagg BA-40, it's pretty decent for the price
-
Thanks for all the replys and help, in the end I went with my gut and bought a Stagg 40W amp

That Markbass looks pretty awesome but wayyyy too expensive for me. I've got a Zoom B2 so i could play through headphones, but half the fun is jamming with people

I've been doing a bit more research and found an Orange amp, which looks promising. http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2c5eb7adde It's a bit more expensive, but it's 25W instead of 40W which is what the Stagg is. Has anyone used the amp? Or, would this PA speaker be a better option? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Gemini-GSM-1250-12-100w-PA-Speaker-GSM1250-SINGLE-/170614816586?pt=UK_ConElec_SpeakersPASystems_RL&hash=item27b96f7f4a

Hmm, idealy I'd wanna get a GK 112 or something like that, but they are just too expensive for a little practice amp. I had a look on ebay, there are a few PA speakers being sold but they arn't in very good condition. Theres also a Stagg BA-40 amp, 40 watts at around 50 quid, that might be my best bet. Hopefully it will be better than the BA-20 I had before...

Thanks for all the advice guys but I really wasn't looking to spend a lot, considering my old Stagg amp cost me £65, I figured just a small 8" speaker should only cost around £30-40? I can't really spend more than £50
The GB amp isn't exactly big, just get a small 1x10 or 1x12 cab to take with you as well as that
Oh yeah, don't know why I didn't think of that! But the amp's 500W, so wouldn't I run the risk of blowing the cab? I had a quick look on GAK, couldn't see any small cabs for sale. Also went on the Bass Centre but they don't seem to be selling amps anymore?

Heya, I currently have quite a big rig; Genz Benz STL 9.0 amp, 2x410 cabs. I'm gonna be going off to uni in a week and obviously I can't take my rig cos it's massive, so I'm in the market for a small portable amp. I used to own a Stagg BA-20 amp, which is around the size I'm after now, but I sold it because it was never any good for my playing style which mostly consists of aggressive slap. The amp couldn't handle it and used to cut out, like it had a built-in compressor. Maybe it just had a weak preamp... Anyways, not really looking to spend much, just a cheap thing will do. So long as it sounds alright. Recommendations and advice welcome, and greatly appreciated! Cheers

Hey guys, Well after purchasing a new amp, I now need to go through the laborious task of recovering some of the funds. Up for sale is my Boss Micro BR multi-track digital recorder. It's been a great bit of kit, I've owned it from new, and has done everything I could have ever wanted, and more (and even more than that, I just haven't learnt how to use all the functions!) Here's the Boss website for more info on it: http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=818 Check out the reviews: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...s/Micro+BR/10/1 (Or just Google "Boss Micro BR Reviews") Here's the specs in a nutshell: The World's Smallest Pro Studio Meet the ultimate palmtop guitar companion and recording studio. Only slightly larger than an iPod, the tiny-yet-powerful MICRO BR is a dream for musicians on the go. The MICRO BR offers four simultaneous playback tracks (plus 32 V-Tracks), MP3 compatibility, onboard multi-effects, built-in rhythm patterns, a tuner, USB, an SD Card slot, and more. No guitar case or gig bag should be without one! * Ultra portable, only slightly larger than an iPod * 4-track playback, 32 V-Tracks * Loads and plays MP3 files * Multi-effects onboard; dedicated guitar input * Time-Stretch and Center Cancel features (including MP3 files) * 293 rhythm patterns * Built-in tuner and microphone * USB port for data transfer * SD Card slot for recording media, 128MB card included This is a fantastic little device, read the reviews or watch the youtube vids. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZtcqOab_Lo It's sustained a few scratches due to general use, and some of the silver paint is flaking off in a small area. This does not affect it's operation, it's just cosmetic. The MBR functions flawlessly. It comes boxed, with all manuals, a protective sleeve, and I'm also including a 1GB memory card that was not included when purchased. I bought this from GAK a few months ago for £160 http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/70523 I am asking for £100. PM me or Email me at if interested. Buyer is welcome to collect from north London, or I will post via Special Delivery.
