Ernest (the kalikot guy) is a friend of mine. not really sure but I think it is somewhat based on the demeter compulator. It is a great comp for the money.

    Just bought one of this and its the best amp I ever owned. I can say its a bit "creamier" version of the shuttle 6.2 that I use to own. loving the taste knob! have a free bump.

    new comp added and rearranged the pedals. all the most used pedals are now at the bottom.     well I only have had 3 pedals with reverbs in them (M5, B3 and mythfx triton) and the M5 wins for versatility and sound.

    if reverb is the main concern, then line 6 for me. tried both and for me the m series sounds better. cant go wrong with its modulations and delays either.

    would buy it for max 450quid as I love wenge neck warwicks, they are not as chunky as the mid 2000's ovangkol ones. also, the brass JAN is an added bonus as its miles better than the 2nd and 3rd gen JAN.
