1. They must be the new relic'd model then.
2.
Ask them if they've owned the guitar from new and do they have the receipt? In return offer them a 1956 Fender Jazz bass...
3. I've asked him for some pics. I really hope he sends some!
4. I know Fender bought the Squier company either in the 60's or 70's but I've never heard of a Squier strat from 1976! Or am I totally missing something! http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/vintage-1976-fender-squier-by-stratocaster-swap-for-bass/1066514471 Wonder what the Gibson amp is?

12. Hi, I'm sure its 34 but for some reason I always call it the little Precision? I will have a check when I get home Sunday. The original thread where I got it from is here - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/220929-trade-agreed-squier-1990-japanese-precision/page__p__2267763__hl__japanese%20squier__fromsearch__1#entry2267763 If you read it I have got a couple of things wrong and will update the thread. The thread says its a 1990 and it has Fender 62 pickups and its copper shielded. Bonus!
13. Hi, thanks for that. I cant see instruments or electrical items on their restricted list - http://www.dpd.co.uk/content/product-services/restricted_items.jsp I will email them tomorrow and verify that instruments etc are covered with their insurance. I'm a bit paranoid with it as I've had an item gone missing. Even though myhermes had obtained a signature from the recipient for an item I sold on ebay, the buyer then said they had not received it. Ebay refunded the money via paypal to them, myhermes wouldn't pay the insurance as they had proof of delivery and the item was never seen again! The next time they absolutely trashed a guitar beyond repair. When I tried to claim, I found out that musical instruments, electrical goods etc etc etc are not covered. Hence being very skeptical of couriers! Phew! Cheers.
14.
How much to post to Brighton, UK ?
I cant see it costing more than a tenner sending via the usual companies but thats probably not insured as most places don't insure amps. Check out - https://www.myhermes.co.uk/help/carry-guide.html I don't really want to do it that way as I've had a couple of disasters that way with myhermes specifically. However, I will send it that way with a company of your choice if you are willing to take the risk. At the moment I'm trying to find a reputable company that will insure and courier instruments and amps but as yet haven't found one I'm happy with. You could also get your own fully insured quote that includes electrical items such as amps etc and pay exactly what it is and have the assurance that if anything goes wrong you wont lose out. I'm away from home until Sunday so I cant measure it and weigh it to get an exact quote either way. When I get back I will package it and post the dimensions. Cheers
15. need a fiver Give you a tenner.
16. I have the Ibanez setup with the matching extension. I am more than happy with it but in an ever ending search for a truly compact and portable rig I have been wondering about perhaps moving the Promethean along for an Aer. The Promethean would probably suit my needs on its own without the extension but i always take it just incase. As I believe the Aer doesn't have an extension out would it be a suitable single unit alternative? We don't rehearse very often and only gig with PA support. 3 vocals, 2 guitars, 1 bass and drummer. We basically play Clash songs at the moment. The drummer is not heavy handed but not a mouse either. Has anybody compared the two? Cheers Dunc
17. Any trades?
18. What is he measuring in picture 8?
