2. I agree with many people above that I'd favour most ampeg cabs and amps over ashdown. I can't see why ashdowns are so popular. I'm not just talking about not being able to do nice clean sounds, I love rock sounds, and love the drive and roughness from oranges and ampegs, but I can't see ashdown's niche. they often sound muddy and flappy and boomy. Apart from the MAG series, which have always been very good for the price. This is only my experience so far. Having said this I'll probably find myself proved wrong next time i use one!

6. could be an easy fix, I have heard of other little marks cutting out, usually a simple repair job. There's a forum or two about it somewhere

8. Brilliant combo, i used one a couple of times as part of the house backline in a medium sized venue, really impressed with the sound and also volume considering 100w

11. PM's replied to, thanks for all your trade enquiries, but nothing has taken my fancy yet.... basically looking for a straight sale unless you have a nice normal American Standard Jazz
12. Finally found some accurate scales, it's 4.40kg/9.7lbs on the nose
13. Price is £1300, not £1350 as stated at the top
14. haha, yeah I'm beginning to wonder if I should sell it too :s
15. Nice one Karl, I think everyone should have a sadowsky in their collection at some point good luck!
16. haha, Cheers Karl, that's very kind and considerate! I wont mind if you want to put it up at the same time, especially if you need funds quickly for another purchase!
17. Hi guys! Price now £1300 Up for sale is my Sadowsky RV4 metro. The condition is excellent, and it plays like a dream, seriously precision built. It features the VTC control that the more recent ones do. I had a slightly older MV4 before this one, and for some reason this one kicks it's arse in terms of sound and feel. It's in near mint condition, but I have documented 3 very small blemishes in the photos. It still has the plastic film on the back of the electrics/battery cover. The serial number is M3096. Not entirely sure about the date, but I think it might be 2010/11 or something? I've had it since summer '13, and I bought it from the Manchester Bass Lounge. If anyone can date it, then please let me know! I can also include a spare mint coloured pickgaurd, which I have left over from my previous MV4 (it got stolen, and the RV4 was the insurance replacement) Also a Sadowsky case. The case is a semi hard case (pictured). It has compartment either side of the neck which are tailor made to snugly fit a few pedals, or what ever else like leads/strap etc. Perfect case for those gigs when taking a whole pedal board is overkill. The front has a pocket that's a good size for sheet music, leads, or even a small amp head! I'm selling this and also a mex jazz, and with my funds from both sales, I intend to buy an active 5 string of some kind and a US standard fender jazz. It's 4.4kg/9.7lbs Feel free to come round and have a play, my terrible phone camera doesn't really do it justice!
18. I'm going to sell my Sadowsky, and part replace it with a jazz, and would love this colour, but haven't got the funds until I sell mine unfortunately! I may be interested in a few weeks if it's still here!
