PJB 8B 8x5” cab £400 Truly amazing versatile cab, I’ve played loads of gigs on double bass from jazz to acoustic pop with a drummer will full kit and sticks (no feedback!!) and also electric bass in a rock band with a mesa m2000 head which was amazing. These are very detailed, you really hear exactly what you put into them but they are not sterile or harsh. Small footprint which fits in nicely in a tight pub and the sturdy handle and wheel s makes easy work of loading in and out. [size=6][u][b]SOLD[/b][/u][/size] Mesa Subway D-800 amp Amazing little amp that transformed my views on Class D amp for sure! I got this to replace a mesa M2000 and it’s equally as good for tone but a fraction of the weight and size. After trying a few Class D amps (Genz shuttle, TC rebel, Markbass F1) and not liking them as much as big heavy amps, I really had to think hard about getting this but it blows them all out the water. Huge amounts of power on tap and stunning tone, it’s really easy to get a solid warm but articulate tone out of the D800. The voicing control really works and gives the head a good usable range of sounds from vintage to modern hifi. I only play double bass these days and were upgrading the PA so we can all DI so I’ve got no need for such a nice amp anymore. £650 including postage complete with Mesa gigbag.
