6. BBE Opto Stomp Compressor £60 including postage Great comp, very natural and smooth Great review on Ovnilab http://www.ovnilab.c...optostomp.shtml "I rated the original one very very highly because it was built like a tank, and had clean tone with no losses, smooth natural action, and very little noise" "If you happen to find the first version, with white sides, red lettering, and -15 dB switch; and if the output levels don't seem to be too low; then buy it! That particular one is a really, really good value"

  10. Fender Bassman 300 Pro All valve Amp (Bergantino NV610 Sold) Bassman 300 pro is truly amazing, a very versatile amp – goes from Vintage SVT with on channel2 (with channel 1 blended in a little) with a little drive and bump the high mids to true super fat and warm vintage on channel 1 with low mids boosted to clean super well defined with eq flat. It’s obviously heavy but the well placed handles with good balance make this no harder to carry than some 4U racks I’ve had in the past. Services 3 months ago and has been 100% reliable. I’ve gigged it quite a bit and the creamy tone is to die for with a massive punch and clarity regardless of settings. We’re doing more acoustic gigs and the occasional electric bass gigs are quieter or more pop where 300 valve watts into a 610 are crazy over the top. Based in Worcester but I do travel about quite a bit around the country for work so can possibly deliver Bassman £700
