  2. Agree with Discreet (Post #4) - I walked away from a working band for that reason. Guitarist and singer both left the band the following week.

Compliments from within the band or from people I know usually get "Thanks, I'm just doing what needs to be done". Chris
  7. RIP Andy Fraser- an inspiration to a generation of bass guitar players. Mr Big - was and still is just sublime. Chris.
  8. An influential and unique singer backed by the the stunning Grease Band. .Joe Cocker's perfomance of 'With A Little Help From my friends' at Woodstock was and is sublime. I saw the movie at The Empire Leicester Square, and the cinema audience stood up and applauded Cocker's performance. Thanks for some great music Joe, wherever you go from here - go carefully. Chris
