  1. Cortek Indonesia?
  2. I've got a gem of an Tribute L2k up for sale here. It's got an East preamp, Tusq nut, full Jon Shuker fret job, extra switching functionality and is in fab condition.
  3. Dan's been on Basschat a while, top bloke who knows his gear, so here's a feedback thread for you, @DanD I bought a very special Yamaha bass from Dan. A very honest and transparent transaction that all went smoothly. Welcome to your very own feedback thread 😀
  4. I love a lightly-used flat-wound. All my used strings are bought through this very site 🫠
  5. Been there, done that. Scumbags. We all know to support our own, Rotosound/Legacy through Stringsdirect.co.uk or Newtone Strings inthe North of England. Others available.
  6. https://re-punkd.band/dates I saw this band. Wow! Very professional. Worth the ticket price all day long.
  7. It's not often Richie K is mentioned on BC! I absolutely love him. Always make the effort when he's in the UK.
  8. Look how the light catches the inlays! 🤤
  9. The mug or the amp? 🤣
  10. What I'd like to know is whether anyone here who uses a big valve head as a home/bedroom amp. I used to use my MJW through a 210 in my study before rearranging the room and going through the audio interface and monitors.

    Ho Ho Hohner

Nice. I've had loads of Hohner basses but never one of those.
  12. https://re-punkd.band/dates Check out this band. Very professional and a great night out.
  13. This is a gem of an amp and a veritable bargain. They're properly repairable (unlike some modern gear) and were the heed of choice for Duff and Flea back in the day. I loved mine. GLWTS. Someone is going to get a bargain.
  14. This three10 really intrigues me. I've had a BF six10 and currently run 2 x BFtwo10 switchable cabs that give me enormous flexibility and I've never needed more but I do like what Alex does. I can see a three10 on the cards one day.
  15. Bienvenido a Basschat, amigo.
  16. After not owning a Spector for about 10 years or more and missing the 2008 trans blue Euro LX 4 I had, I bought this last week. It's a 2018 Euro LX 4 with a zebrano top. It's like new, came with a custom Swann case and Schaller strap locks. It's been a complete case queen since day 1. I set it up as it hadn't been touched since leavingthe factory. I kept the original strings on it as they are like new. I tweaked the Tonepump so it's now sweet and that's it. These things are phenomenal. I know nothing about these zebrano versions, so if anyone knows whether it was an option or if they were special runs, that would be interesting. What can I say? It's a peach.
  17. Whoops! That's never happened before.
  18. I have a ProShop LP style guitar. It is amazing. It's better than my 90s Jap Love Rock. However... I bought it second hand for £275. I've seen a couple come up for sale and they depreciate horrendously. If you find one used at a low price, it's likely to be a bargain of a lifetime, buy one new and want to move it on, be prepared to take a hit.
  19. There's a thread on TB about why no 35" Scale on Sadowsky basses. This gives some good insight into what is being discussed here I can't paste the link for some reason
