1. Don't ask me why the previous pic is upside down?
2. Your bass sounds awesome, and as a previous owner you know the quality your going to get. Just thought I'd share a pic of 2 shuker bass's I own. It's the stability of the neck that excites me. I've owned graphite status necks before today & the dual carbon truss rods on my shukers give a neck of equal stability - regardless of ambient air temp of relative humidity of the venue I'm playing in,, and I'm using super lightweight 30 gauge stainless hotwires. Low action & next to no fret buzz or rattle. Great guitars.
3. Looks beautiful and if it plays like mine then someone is getting a real instrument of absolute class.. Somebody please buy it before I raid the piggy bank. I own 2 Shuker bass's,, both are my main instruments of choice for different reasons; 1 is a SC for jazz style finger pluck funky,, and the DC Elite is a slap happy chappie. Both have the most stable necks I have ever owned (and I owned a status a few years ago). Bump for a great instrument, and despite the fact I don't really need to own a 3rd shuker I am seriously tempted..!! Good luck with the sale, the buyer won't be dissappointed. I've attached a link pic to my SC 34 scale.
4. Only really putting this on in case anyone needs a heads up on how this stuff handles and sounds,, any questions - feel free to ask.. Shuker Elite 5 string NT 34' Shuker Elite Single Cut NT 34' Status long scale stainless strings 30-100 Tc Electronic Staccato 51 Amp (Racked). Line 6 Bass Pod XT Pro (Racked). Behringer Rack Tuner. Behringer Rack Compressor Boss ME50B pedal board. 2 x Vanderkley 112MNT Cabs The new acquisitions are the Vanderkleys and the Line 6.. Prior to those it was a Behringer B V-Amp rack mount and tc electronic cabs. I play a lot, church band on a Sunday (albeit not particularly religious),, residency on a Thursday where we play Jazz/Funk (own stuff mainly), paying gigs on Fridays, Satutdays etc (all your soul funk & rock / pop favourites). Rehearsals every Tuesday and home recording in between.
5. PS: I've actually purchased 3 significant products through this forum over the last year or so (5 string Shuker elite; 2 x Vanderkley 112mnt cabs) it's just that I've only started my feedback topic recently.. Still a bit new to all this.
6. Please leave feedback here regarding any transactions you have with me.. Thanks. Regards: Miker.
7. Buy with confidence. Dave is a top bloke who sold me a Vanderkley in great condition, delivery and packaging was excellent.. Good communication throughout. Thanks again Dave. Regards: Miker
8. Ultimate bump. Buy with confidence,, purchased one of these cabs a couple of days ago and it arrived today in great condition and well packaged.. Would have had them both but I already have one. Thanks again Dave.. Regards: Miker.
9. If you change your mind I'm still interested,, cash sale..!!
10. Gutted - wasn't even in the market for a new 5 string before I saw this. I've got a 5 string shuker elite thru neck with an action that's lower than the belly of any snake you wish to mention. Still, you snooze you lose..

15. tc electronic RS210 for Sale - £300: SOLD Bought this cab brand new approx 6 months ago to match a Staccato 51; but I have never really used it, so its pretty much in as new condition - not a mark on it & kept in a smoke free environment. Its got a great sound (very punchy) and is reasonably light & easy to handle. Sorry to see it go but I keep using another / smaller cab & I want the funds for another purchase. I will try and add some pics later; but essentially its a RS210 in great (new) condition & theres plenty of pics on the internet. Buyer must collect - Unfortunately I dont have any of the original packaging. tc electronic RS410 - For Sale or Trade: Wirral, Merseyside. Selling my virtually un-used RS410. I'm not joking its pretty much as good as new. In my opinion its the best sounding cab out of the tc electronic range. It got a lot of presence and punch which is great for a slap sound or a punch in the chest low. Selling because I just dont use it. Its too big for the venues I play (although to be fair its as big as any 4x10 out there) so I'm selling to fund purchase of a Vanderkley 112MT / MNT or 210 MT / MNT (much smaller!). Price: £395.00 (or trade for Vanderkley 112 or 210) - no packaging so buyer must collect (sorry!). Technical Details are below. 1st Time Ive posted a sale on BassChat; so hope Ive covered all the required bases.. Pics will follow soon; but essentially its a new RS410 that looks like all the promo shots you've ever seen! RS410 is an 8 Ohm, 600W cabinet. Drivers As with all of the RS range, the drivers are custom made by US company Eminence. 20. Check out an American Jazz Trio (Sax; Elec Bass; Drums) called Living Daylights. Arne Livingstone is an amazing bass player who's notoriety is largely unknown.. Their live album Night of The Living Daylights is awsome - a cross between Funk, Avante-Garde & Be-bop. Whenever I listen to it I never get to the last track coz I'm so inspired to pick the bass up & play. If you like the Living Daylights then also try another jazz trio (sax; elec & acoustic bass, drums) called Spaceways Incorporated. Nate McBride grinds out an excellent groove with nothing but a P bass & an old amp. One of their albums features 12 tracks of Funkadelic & Sun-Ra (hence the Spaceways name). Their sound, based on the 2 bands mentioned is a sax driven Rock; Avante Garde; funky be-bop. If Hendrix played sax then the music would sound something like this. It's got a jazz rhythm that pounds in places like Redding / Cox & Mitchell. Hope you like 2 of my jazz listens - got loads more.
21. [sup]Been on to the 'Real Electronics' Website where is it does say they are offcial repairers of tc electronic equipment. You can also find their details from the tc electronic website through a support link. I spoke to Real Electronics earlier today & spoke to 2 very polite members of staff who directed me to an on-line repair submission form - not hard to find. After filling that form in I am assured I will recieve a response within 24hrs with instructions and an order code to send the product to them. By enclosing a copy of the receipt, with the amp, the repair will be carried out under warrantee. To gain further clarification of this I spoke to Mark at Bass Direct (always helpful) who also confirmed that Real Electronics are the official UK repair centre for tc electronics (they also do Markbass too!).[/sup] [sup]Apparently the buttons are a knowm problem; but its sadly reassuring to find that other Bass Chat members have had a similar experience. Thanks for responding..[/sup] [sup]I am going to fill the online form in tonight; await the response & send the product off. Unfortunately at a time of year when we are busy so time to break out old faithful - ABM.. I'll post again to let you know how I get on with the repair; but at least its good to know that a repair can be done in this country. Apart from that I am not put off by the product, its a great sound with bags of slapping punch and an output that seems to surpass the 450 rating its given. [/sup]
22. Hi.. Reading a couple of threads after purchasing this product I was half expecting this happen.. I noticed that 4 out of the 5 LED illuminated push buttons on the front panel appear to have a hairline crack or a manufacturing seem in the plastic. Now I'm not at all heavy handed but within days of each other 2 of the crack like seems have officially split the buttons in 2. I could go back to Mark at Bass Direct; who I'm sure would address the problem, but my concern is if the product is just exchanged with an off the shelf replacement then the same fault may appear again down the line. I have only owned the amp from new for approx 5 months and its flightcased so in as new condition (well almost!). So whats the reason for the thread? Has anyone had experience of the same problem? Did anyone have it replaced & find the same fault again at a later date? Does anyone know if tc electronic have addressed the issue to make sure it doesnt happen again? I was hoping that tc electronics may have manufactured replacement buttons - does anyone have experience of a using the tc electronic UK approved repair centre called 'Real Electronics'.. Thanks. Regards: Miker
23. Hi to Everyone on BassChat.. Only joined BassChat a few days ago & I'm really impressed by the support offered by others. Up until recently I used to have an Ashdown ABM Bass Rig with 115; 210 Cabs. I went for the tc electronic equipment as I was looking for an almost synthetic punch & High Fidelity snap to my slap sound - combined with compression at 3 stages I feel I have reached a level of utopia. I was also taken by the pre-set capability of the amp - so sounds can be dialled-up at the push of a button; ideally via the RC4. I listen to a lot of Jazz (including accoustic) but dont limit my interest in bass playing to pure complex technicality.. One of my favourite songs of all time has Larry Graham playing the same note for the entire track with no slap; change in note or time signature - 'Different Strokes for Different Folkes' by Sly & The Family Stone.. Very restrained for Larry..! Other influences are too numerous to mention from Wooten to Krist Novoselic. If you play - I'll watch; listen & take something away with me.. I slap; a lot, prob more than should..! My Equipment: Overwater Perception - 5 String 34" (with Chris May fitted Ramp). Shuker Elite - 5 String 34". Status Bass Stainless Strings (30 - 115). tc electronic Staccato 51 Amp with Rack Kit. 1SKB19-6U Rack Case. Behringer Bass V-Amp Pro. Behringer MDX1600 Compressor / Limter. tc electronic RS410 Cab. tc electronic RS212. tc electronic RC4 pedal. Boss ME50-B Multi-Effects Board.
