1. I'm listening to Ed Sheeran A LOT. He's brilliant. Got real talent.
2. A couple have already been mentioned but: Pink Floyd - Money Fleetwood Mac - The Chain Chic - Disco Inferno Stranglers - Peaches Basic 12 Bar Blues! (think WooHoo by the 5, 6, 7, 8's) Free - All Right Now Jimi Hendrix - Hey Joe Black Sabbath - Hand of Doom Nirvana - Come As You Are And when you're more experienced: Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick!!!! Fundamental thing every bassist should know - The notes on the fretboard. Otherwise, you'll be jamming with a band and someone will say "let's play something in F#!!!" and you'll be left looking like this -> As a matter of fact, I would be looking like that too... Who would want to jam in F#?!?!
3. Perhaps we should start a new one and archive the old one!
4. He's obviously put a good deal of effort into learning to play in this way! There's a left handed guitarist that played with David Gilmour who has his strings upside down. Strange but it's just the way he learnt!
5. Seen this guy before. He plays like this because he used to play violin so this feels more natural to him!
6.

Just FYI, I can still read your email address mister punkdude, so not sure how many others might be able to as well!
7. Buy a Peavey T40
8. Not to be mistaken with Clunge. A completely different animal.
9. £200 each or £200 for the pair?
10. MY personal recommendation will be to go for TC. Get a 210 or another 212, then we you need both you can have them stacked up straight to near your ear level, and you'll have two happily matching cabs. Like peas in a pod!
11. Did anyone get the book in the end??? Any good?
12. My one bass related wish would be to have a box that contained any bass I desired on the moment of opening.

14. I've not done badly at all for myself i must say! I think it's the rumbling lows. It goes the whole way through them!
15.
Setting up at a wedding, and the best man comes up and says there is a guest who is a guitarist ..would you mind if he came up and played a song...well we dont normally say yes,but seeing it turns out to be Dan Hawkins from the Darkness....a really nice guy...well yes OK THEN
AWESOME story.
16. Great well paid fun time of a wedding gig last night. Had a great time. ...except, we were running off a generator. Don't think I need to elaborate on the frustration that caused!
17. Really must figure out what sort of hat will suit me. I've never been a hat wearer!!!
18. I would! :brow: (talking about buying the book here of course)
19. I've realised recently that when I'm playing straight eight notes, that my middle finger on my right hand is the one that feels much more comfortable on the beat. Using my index finger on the beat and the middle finger on the off beat just feels weird. Anyone else noticed this?
20. I'm very much hoping they can actually live up to their expectations, i.e. be as good as the other VMs.
21. Looking goooood! Could do with a black scratchplate to break up the maple though!
22. Wear sunglasses, that way you can close your eyes while singing and not look like too much of a plum.
