2.
On another note, my left thumb actually bends backwards 90 degrees at the middle joint (not the joint where your thumb meets your hand). It's completely painless, so I don't even really know it's happening when I play.
Same here. I never realised how useful it is until I actually stopped and thought about the fact that other people can't do it. Ha. It's good for putting thumb takes in notice boards and watching the faces of people around you turning to disgust.
 3.
i read this as drinking cheese
???

 5. Sorry to hear about the injury, man. I know the feeling. A week or so ago I caught an American football badly, bending my left hand little finger down (away from the others) from the force of the ball. Hurt like a slag, bruised up badly and I wasn't able to do anything with it for a while. Pretty much better now though thank God. Recording at the weekend was interesting...
 6.
Oh good, it's not just me then.
I'm guilty on that count too. I'm guessing most of it was well before my time.
 7.
Listing unavailable?
Same here. It's been removed.
 8. I think that's something that everyone goes through, regardless of how skilled you are. And it's good to know that other people feel the same way, because it's always something that you really do have to find out for yourself. There are things that I still do which have been nicked from other people's playing, but there's also a lot that I do which is comfortable to me, because I decided to do it that way with no outside input. I think that a balance of both is needed to enjoy everything to it's full potential. There's nothing like trying to master a technique that you've seen your hero play and finally pulling it off for yourself. It's just something that you should never get hung up on if you can't manage it. I mean, look at other industries, comedians for example have been stealing each others' jokes for years!
 9.
I'm truly anazed that this has attracted no interest.
So am I! If I saw this a couple of weeks ago I'd have snapped it up in seconds.
 10.
These little fells look safe as...
Haha, the shop's called Dangleberry and there's 69 in stock. Lol. [/immature]
 11. This is an arse because I'm in Nottingham from Friday as well, but I can't come as I'm recording. Ho hum. I might have already said this in here too...I can't remember.

 13. I tried (and pretty much failed) to make a bass a few years ago and remember looking into this then without having much luck. Where's the best and most reasonable place to get fret lights fitted? And how much? OOORRRR, where is the best place that sells basses already set up with the lights? They look cool as sometimes. I'm just curious as this may be a future GAS problem.
 14. Unfortunately I missed out this time around as I was recording. But I still bought a couple of tickets to support the event and get in with a shout of some top prizes. I'm guessing the winners have already been announced? :-/ Good to hear that it was an awesome bash though.
 15. Just copy all the songs onto one CD and play through it in whichever way you see fit. If you know most of the songs already, stick the ones you don't know at the start and get working. I had to learn a half hour sets worth of weird timing rock songs in a week for a gig, and that's the way I like it. If the pressure isn't on, it's not as much of a challenge for you to rise to. ^_^ Good luck sir.
 16.
The reason Im not keen on naming and shaming is because I dont want to land the forum in hot water on the off chance any of the management happen to frequent the forum - we have had some estabilishments contact us about some comments mademon here pertaining to the reputation of said business, and although these are my opinions and do not reflect the board in general I would rather play it safe.
I don't see how opinions could possibly be a problem on here anyway, as long as it's not just made up rubbish. If that's what happened then that's what happened. If Fender's customer service dept were rude to me and I came on here to warn others of the situation, it's not libellous, it's fact. The shop should deal with the consequences of having crap staff that can't be bothered to do their job properly. I used to work in a music shop, and thoroughly enjoyed helping people finding the right instrument. Of course there were customers that wasted time, or just wanted to play the guitars with no view to buying them, but the customers should always be treated the same until they start taking the piss. It's common sense and common courtesy.
 17. I'm trying to sort out insurance for my music gear, but there's a few bits that are proving a pain to find the RRP for as I'm getting conflicting results. I'm guessing that there are a few guys on here that deal in equipment and ordering stuff, so if you could give me a hand it'd be much appreciated. The things I still need prices for are: EBS 350 HD Hartke 4x10 Peavey 1x15 Fanks.
 18.
Ashes urn container?
Nope. It's a coffin for a bass obsessed dwarf that still wants to rock out until the end of time.
 19. I'll be selling a Yamaha 5 soon for similar reasons. It's my first bass that I actually owned because I got it on the cheap... but after the initial novelty of playing it, I found that I got on so much better with the standard 4. Each to their own I suppose. Hehe. I just didn't want to play with an extra string for the sake of it.
 20. Haha, it was fun though. Got to start somewhere. I've got an EBS 350HD that I nabbed off Chester along with a Hartke 4x10 and Sylv's old 1x15. I am still after an Ashdown, but only as Thomann haven't bloody delivered mine that I ordered ages ago. :-/ It's the 2x10 combo that's on the way.
 21.
And yes, yes I did.
In that case...I'm sorry.
 22. Hello to you. I think I tried to join your other forums a few months back but I was DE-NIED! Did you actually see RCG then? Let's hope not. That was back in my g-tar days.
 23.
Red Cell Ghost?
Crikey yes....that was back in the day! Haha. This is Fosk isn't it?
 24.
I'm sure your probably more talented than most of us!
This. ^^ Hello miss A. And hello mewsie. Haha!
 25. Hello sir. And just so that people know...this isn't just a "listen to my band" post (honest), but those recordings are the only example of me playing I have online. It's nothing too spafftastic bass-wise.
