1. Great basses indeed! And yes, I will regret it!
2. Thanks - this is a really nice bass. Effortless playability unlike a lot of jazzes I've owned in the past! It's the kind of bass you forget you're wearing as it's so light and well balanced. No shoulder tug etc

And this is SOLD
4. After much trial and error (drumroll) DR Sunbeams...
5. Sunday breakfast browsing bump for this great jazz. The trouble with jazz basses is that a lot of them suck. Dead, heavy, neck dive etc etc. This is a nice one for a change!
6. Yeah, they are very good basses. Extremely responsive….
7. Hi Jumanji. I'm in Kent. Once you hit the M25, I'm an hour and a quarter away. 3 hours overall from yours to mine according to the AA. A mere jaunt Cheers! Nick
8. I've been ambivalent about modern (90s and onwards) Stingrays even though I played them out live and recorded with them for ages. The Stingray classics though are incredible - 2 band preamp all the way. So I would recommend checking out the stingray classic 5 and trying to find a light one. My Ray classic is under 9lbs. It sound incredible…makes other basses sounds like toys...
9. Bump for Badass free 100 quid price drop...
10. Very cool bass but need to move it on. American Vintage 1975 reissue jazz bass. You know the score - fantastic Fender jazz basses ...and this is a good one. I would prefer local meet up and deal, not posting. specs - very light at 8.5 lbs - perfect balance - G&G case - ash body with natural gloss - maple neck and fretboard with black blocks - stock pups which sound great - badass installed - 70s pup arrangement - microtilt system which works fantastically. This bass has extremely low action and 7.25 inch fretboard radius. It's amazing... Alternatively, if you want to save 100 quid on this great bass. I keep the Badass and its yours for 850. Stock bridge will be reinstalled.
11. I've said it before and will say it again - probably the best production bass in the world at the minute...
12. Withdrawn from sale
13. When I see a spoiler I think of the bass sound that underpinned one of the greatest bands that ever trod the boards, The Revolution. Brownmark is a serious player…murky sound but you get the picture. What a band! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjAu3fVaPHQ
14. Withdrawn
15. Ah 'We Supply"…that's funky right there...
16. These 'Rays have such great necks. Awesome basses...
17. She's a genius. I shall be there!
18. Thanks for that, cheers, Nick
19. I have every sympathy for the teenage bedroom thwacker for I was one of them. I understand the magnetic attraction of chugging away with 3 winds of electricians tape on the thumb. But that was 1987, and this is now…
This place is a treasure trove of euphemisms.
20. Want to avoid UPS and the like. Any recommendations for shipping a bass (in hardcase in quite a large box with padding inside) to Holland? Need it be reliable and insurable. I'm based in Kent. Cheers! Nick
21. I love it when Me'Shell and Prince do it…buuuuut ...thwacking 16ths in your bedroom in Em on youtube ain't so cool in my book
22. This is too good to go…it is staying with me!
23. Wahhh, exactly what I need…thump thump thump…very nice bass. I would go Sonic/Mint myself...
24. Gallup is great and Smith is a fantastic guitarist…love The Cure
