  1. Selling a pair of Rumble V3 112 cabs.

This has been a decision I've agonised over but they're definitely going now!

They're great cabs, with eminence drivers and a fender tweeter. They're really nicely made with very strong bracing inside and are fully wadded / lined.

One of them is used but has no signs of use. £150.

The second one is new, still has the yellow Fender sticker and will come with a Roqsolid cover. £200.

£300 if anyone wants to take the pair.

Can deliver in the NE or can pack them up for a courier.

Pics here are of 3 but only 2 are for sale.

  2. By 'one input' do you mean the head has one speakon connection on the back (output), which is the case on the head you mentioned?

Don't let that sway your thinking. You can daisy chain cabs using the two sockets you'll find on the back of any cab. You aren't limited to a one cab solution ... Unless you want one of course!

For what it is worth, my own take on this, especially where minimal weight is a "doctor's orders" kind of thing, is that I'd prefer to do two easy trips from the car than one awkward one. Larger cabs, including many 2x12s are great, and not always very heavy, but that doesn't make them easy to move from a car through doors, stairs and corners to your spot next to the drummer! Modular is the way.

Good luck and good health Dave.

  3. Glad you got the stents before things got any worse dude.

I'm about to list 2 Fender Rumble 112 cabs. They're light, good handles which make for an easy lift and they do go loud. Pm if interested and apologies if this is an infraction of any rules!

  4. After much to-ing and fro-ing I'm am now, officially, selling this amp.

As much as I love it there is only so much space in the cupboard and something has to go.

This is immaculate - good as new   - condition and has been tested and found to be fully working and lovely sounding.

You can find all the specs on line but in short it has:

    - 800w output with the flexibility of going down to 2ohms, meaning lots of cab options.

    -4 band eq

    - switchable drive

    - built in HPF

    - built in limiter (fender's tried and true  delta comp )

    - 3 'voice' options via buttons

    - very quiet fan

    - nice ins and outs with pre/ post DI, cab sim etc.

Will come with owners manual and the fender bag.

    £300 plus postage.

    Will add some pictures tomorrow.

The crossover circuit diagram is a bit scruffy so I will tidy it up and put it on here later.

Thanks, this would be great. I'm trying to get my head around crossovers so would really appreciate seeing this.

  7. Hi all,

Looking to part with three of these lovely cabs as I can't see me using them.

All in great condition - they're either entirely new or as good as new. Will upload pics soon.

As others have said, these make great lightweight medium power cabs but as a trio make for a really versatile modular rig that can go very loud. My idea was to use one for rehearsals, two for most gigs and three for outdoor gigs (they're 8ohms each, so using three needs an amp that can go down to 2.7 ohms, or 2phms like the Rumble head)

Rated at 250w RMS each. They have an Eminence 12 and a switchable tweeter. Black tolex, nice chrome corners, good handles and a smart vintage look. Each one weighs about 14kg I think.

Price is £150 per cab. I can deliver them for petrol money within about an hours drive of Newcastle. Also, I am happy to play ball if you want to use a courier - but that would be the buyer's cost and responsibility.

    Images coming ASAP.

  8. First up, hoping no one (and no bass guitars !)... We're hurt in the fire.

In case anyone is as boring as me ... the co2 in fire extinguishers doesn't bind to the oxygen as was implied above. It works as a fire extinguisher because it is heavier than the oxygen, so it pushes the oxygen up and away from the fuel as it descends onto the fuel. It also blows the oxygen away by sheer force of the propulsion. That distance between fuel and oxygen starves the fire.  It is basically a gaseous blanket.

The other bands are just music for people who aren't interested in music. The peak of mediocrity.

May sound like that now but the Killers track (which is way out ahead in this list) was energetic, edgy and anthemic when it came out, for a certain demographic. Not muso stuff, but neither were [insert your iconic band of choice].

  10. Selling this lovely Ashdown.  It's been a tricky decision to part with this one but I am not using this (barely ever have) and can't see it happening now, so it might as well go to a new home.

This combo is from the UK custom shop. Nice amp if you like Ashdown ABM features but not the weight.

Features a SICA neo driver and an Eminence APT80 for the horn. I lined it with wadding which made a subtle improvement and also added a proper crossover for the tweeter. It honestly sounds really nice, it is a very good tweeter - the same that Barefaced use on the One10T.

Price is now £350  plus delivery
