hi mate, I'm hoping to shift it in the pre-xmas period and to be honest (after thinking about it today) wouldn't want to take it off sale too long as once that window closes it gets harder to sell stuff. ... let me know how you get on with your sales.
Trades?? could be interested in pedals so try me, via pm??

Think I read that the inverse scoop of our ears sensitivity to sound (google ‘Fletcher Munson curve’) changes as sound gets louder.
It gets flatter, which means that we tend to like a scooped Eq at low volume but need it flatter at high volume to achieve the same perceived sound.
There’s more to it than that, in terms of a band mix etc, but in terms of a soloed bass track this does make sense of why we like scoop in the house, flat on stage. -
In reference to this whole jaw-dropping thread, simply…

Cheers @Quatschmacher.
To be honest the photos make look darker than it is, it’s really mid-purple with loads of sparkle. Nice if you’re into funky looking filters

Thank goodness for that… I fear couldn’t have held out much longer 🤣

This sounds like a daft question but are you sure you’re turning the speaker sim on, not off??
That sounds a lot like dirt hitting a tweeter, which the speaker sim should be preventing. -
Always been curious about these. Is there a good oc2 octave one for the sub n up??

This’ll be great.
If you like these you’ll love the Ashdown ABM neo combos, which were very similar but quite a lot lighter. -
Pretty sure the Dual VU is the same (great) amp in a different housing. It can be racked or can stand alone with the metal case.
For those troubled by such things, the absence of the wooden sleeve makes the Dual VU ABM narrower, and thus less of a problem to stand it atop a slightly narrower cab. Same is true of the rackmount version of the ABM (https://ashdownmusic.com/collections/last-chance/products/abm-600-rc-evo-iv-uk-custom-shop) .

Its not a renamed line in, there was never a line in before.
First pic on google of the back of an ABM shows a line in. I must be missing something. I’m happy to be educated
Sorry if I sounded grumpy about it… I wish Ashdown well and take the point about strats and signature series stuff, but they’re still called strats. This is an Interstellar 600…I suppose I was hoping for an ABM Evo5 or some new ideas.
Hope it’s a success for them.

I have to say I don’t really get the point of this amp. It is an ABM with a renamed line in and a fixed rather than variable set of controls. Yes it looks different and is made in the UK factory but is that it?
