  1. In all fairness having three or four new threads posted on the same day, recommending and encouraging purchases of a book, just after the authors thread had been deleted, all being posted by members of 'the other big bass forum', is pretty much the definition of spamming. Although those posters were TB members, it wouldn't take a genius to work out what's going and have a quick look on BC and find this thread, especially given the response by TB to the original thread by the author. Fair play for trying though but I feel to many threads were started in the rush to help. That said it's a shame TB is the way it is, but it is.
  2. Nights in White Satin (Moody Blues or even better, The Dickies)
  3. So starting a thread calling them f**king c**ts for deleting the book recommendations would be frowned upon then. πŸ€”πŸ˜„
  4. Nothing really, apart from I really like the look of all the range, retro and quirky. I'm sad and buy with my eyes. πŸ˜ƒ
  5. Oh god, don't start showing me Italia basses. I've resisted many times but I can't always be this strong. πŸ˜„
  6. But but but everyone on here told me that Ashdown had an indistinct, wooly tone. He can't have got a good tone from it, he just can't have I tell ya!! Disclaimer: I like Ashdown gear πŸ˜‰.

  16. My boss actual has a Ford GT. On the same day as the meeting where we were told there would still be no pay rise after the last one nine years ago, we were invited to go and see his new GT when it arrived. Talk about sticking the knife in.
  17. It's like faded Gulf racing colours. I like it. https://images.app.goo.gl/Xgxudw79Apbqnj5y6
  18. Couldn't remember Andy Serkis' name so looked him up he was raised in Ruislip and Ian Dury in Harrow so they both grew up in similar areas. That may have helped in getting the performance so good.
  19. China Girl (Iggy Pop)
  20. Did you notice the Ashdown 4x10 cab with blueline speakers in the room where Ian came up with Spasticus Autisticus? Was that an error that only bass nerds would notice or have they actually been around that long? Can't think of the actors name but he was brilliant as Ian Dury I thought.
  21. They would be like Wookie sandwiches............ ........ a bit chewy.
  22. I used to like your jokes but............... ........... you've changed!
