1. It may well just be the bass, I've had some earthing problems with it recently.
2. Someone needs to buy this! They're amazing, best micro head out there. Shame about the finances mate. If you need to hear some demos, there are some in the recording section.
3. Yes it is, and stop calling me Shirley.
4. I think you want the for sale section mate, I can highly recommend the H2, great little recorder, you can get them for about £160 new with a 4GB SD card and silicon jacket.
5. I have just taken delivery of my new Golight 1x15, it really opens up the bottom end of the rig. Here's a picture! I love the Golight cabs, I must admit to liking the sound of them more than the Goliaths because they are punchier and have more detail in the mid range.
6. The tracking is ace on the deluxe octave pedal, best octaver I've ever used, tracks well down to a low B!
7. Awesome mate, I've been pining for some decent tech metal since SikTh split!
8. I bought this pedal roughly a year ago to use as an octaver. It's a great unit and in perfect condition, very lightly gigged and has now been sold! PS-5 on the Boss website

12. I'd recommend you check out the MXR pedals, they're well built, quiet and the effects are great. They have a youtube channel, search for MXR that has lots of rundown videos of the effects and audio clips on the dunlop website. +1 on the Morley Dual Bass Wah, it's an ace wah pedal.
13. There's no way the Bass cube RX will be loud enough for a drummer, great practice and solo amp though.
14. The Roland Bass Micro Cube RX is good, built in effects, tuner and it can be battery powered.
15. The SWR Golight cabs may be worth a look, lightweight(ish) and sound just like the full weight Goliaths.
16. Aural Enhancer 2 O'Clock (Classic Aural enhancer) Bass +6dB @ 60Hz Everything else flat with a tiny bit of onboard compression, and straight out of the onboard D.I. post pre. There is the option on the amp to use the new aural enhancer settings developed with marcus miller, it gives a much darker sound.

20. You should definitely give it a try, it's an amazing piece of kit. I believe walbassist has also ordered one.
21. Recordings are up in the recording section, I apologise for the shoddy playing, it was late!
22. Here are some examples of slapping, tapping and finger style recorded through the D.I. of the new SWR Headlite. The bass used was a Conklin GT-BD7.
23. The characteristics of the sound are very similar, very SWR. The mids are a bit more detailed and it sounds punchier overall. It's most similar to the 350x I used to have. I can't say I've ever found that much of a difference in the sound between the different SWR models, they're all the same preamp after all. If you like the SWR sound you're going to love the headlite. I'm impressed the most by how loud it is and the feature set, it's got more EQ control than most of the SWR range.
24. Please do not hesitate to PM or email ([email protected]) me with offers or questions. I can deliver within a reasonable distance from Sunderland for the cost of petrol. I can arrange a courier at cost to the buyer. SWR Workingmans 2x10c £275 Copied from the SWR website: Since the Redhead (and subsequent Super Redhead) combo embodied the best of SWR in many ways, what better vehicle than a 2X10 bass combo to convey the SWR sound in a value-driven model? Replaced by the WorkingPro 2X10C in 2006. Power Output: 260 watts @ 8 ohms 400 watts with 8 ohm extension cabinet Speaker complement: (2) 10" Custom design SWR drivers (1) LeSon TLX-1 tweeter Dimensions: 23"W x 23"H x 16.75"D Weight: 76 lbs. I bought this combo as ex demo stock from GuitarGuitar 7 months ago, other than a few scratches on the front panel it is in perfect condition. It has never been gigged. Included are a set of casters. Please note that the compressor in the rack on this photo is not included in the price.

SWR Son of Bertha 1x15 £350 Click on the link for SWR's product info page: SWR Son of Betha 1x15 I bought this cab at the same time as the Goliath III and it has seen little use other than at practices. I also have a custom built flightcase for this cab on sale for £125.
