1. For sale, this 2019 Fender American Peformer Precision in satin Lake Placid Blue. As you can see, this is actually a PJ rather than a straight Precision. The bass is passive, and the controls are vol, vol, tone, just like a Jazz. In immaculate condition apart from a bit of light wear on the pickguard. Full specs here: https://shop.fender.com/en-GB/electric-basses/precision-bass/american-performer-precision-bass/0198602302.html?rl=en_US I bought this bass on a whim last year, seduced by its gorgeous looks, awesome tones and effortless playability. I lied to myself that I would use it for the functions band I play in, but I always end up reaching for a 5-string when playing such gigs, so this bass has never left the house since I bought it, hence the immaculate condition. Part of me wants to keep this just for home use (and I have been noodling on it at home A LOT - it really is a joy to play), but another part of me is gassing for a Telecaster, and something has to give, so ... Asking £800 including postage in the UK/EU. (For reference, GAK is pricing this model at £1,099.00 new.) I'm really after a straight sale, but I will consider trades (especially if you have a nice Telecaster to offer!) Ordinarily I would encourage you to come and try before you buy at my place, but C-19 lockdown considerations preclude this at present, I'm afraid. My feedback thread is here: Thanks for looking!
2. I bought Mike's fiesta red Squier CV 60s Precision, in as smooth and hassle-free transaction as it's possible to imagine. Bass arrived exactly on schedule, exactly as described, and in seriously bombproof packaging. A pleasure to trade with you, Mike! All the best! GF
3. Andy just bought my Squier VM Jazz 5er. He sent me a PM on a Saturday morning and came over to collect within an hour or so, cash in hand! It doesn't get any easier than that. He's a really friendly guy, too, and I'm very pleased to have the honour of starting his BC feedback thread. Enjoy the wonderful world of 5 string playing, mate!
4. I've just received a pm asking about the weight and how well balanced this bass is. According to my digital scales, this one weighs 4.8kg, so by no means the lightest of basses, but on the other hand this no doubt helps to explain why this bass is extremely well balanced and thus very comfortable to play - unlike a lot of 5ers, it suffers from absolutely no neck dive whatsoever. Hope this helps! GF
5. Thanks for your interest, chrisd783. I'm afraid I'm not so keen on natural finishes on jazz basses (sacrilege, I know) - more of a block colour dude tbh - so I'll have to pass. Cheers anyway.
6. Looks to be every bit as good a bargain as the lovely MIM Precision I bought from Lozz last week. Can't see this hanging around for long!
7. Having just acquired one of Lozz's precisions I now need to apply the "one in, one out" rule, and this genuinely fantastic 5-string Squier VM jazz 5 is first in line. There's lots of love for these on the Internet, and in this case I think the hype is entirely justified - this one plays and sounds every bit as good as it looks, and punches well above its price point. Home and rehearsal use only, and essentially in immaculate condition apart from the inevitable bit of playing wear on the pickguard and a teeny bit of buckle rash on the back. No bumps or dings. This bass is totally stock (never felt the need to upgrade anything) and comes without a gigbag. Full spec here: https://shop.fender.com/en-GB/squier-electric-basses/jazz-bass/vintage-modified-jazz-bass-v-5-string/0306760505.html?rl=en_US Priced at £250 posted. Also happy to travel up to 1hr by car to meet you for a handover. You're also welcome to pick up from my home in South Birmingham (near M42 and M5), in which case I'll reduce the price to a bargainacious £225. Payment by bank transfer or paypal. Not really looking for trades, but I might be tempted into another "one in, one out" quandary if you have a nice 4-string Jazz to tempt me with. Please note however that the only bass I would be willing to trade upwards for is a Roadworn Fender J in fiesta red. Thanks for looking!
8. Bought a lovely MIM Fender P bass from Lozz. Bass exactly as described, prompt and helpful comms throughout and as smooth a transaction as one could possibly wish for. Best of all, as I was down south for the day I got to meet Lozz in person and do a F2F handover, which was a real treat - a nicer guy you will never meet. Looking forward to catching your next West Mids show, Lozz!
9. Russ just bought a bunch of Gigrig pedalboard power supply stuff from me. Really friendly comms, prompt payment and zero hassle - who could ask for more? Two thumbs up from me! Cheers, mate!
10. Chris bought a GigRig Timelord high current adapter thingy from me. Great guy to deal with - friendly and prompt comms and fast and hassle-free payment - two thumbs up from me. Cheers Chris!
11. And one Timelord sold! One more Timelord still up for grabs, plus the rest as described above.
12. Many thanks for that, Ordep - that's very helpful. I did wonder whether these might be usable with other pedals, but didn't want to make claims that I wasn't sure about!
13. OK, it has been pointed out to me that it doesn't make sense to bundle the Timelord units together with the rest of the Gigrig stuff, as these are high current adaptors specifically designed for individual Strymon pedals, and so are add-ons rather than integral to the Gigrig system. This being the case, I have edited the original sale ad to make the Timelords separate sale items. The rest will stay as a single purchase until next Saturday, when I will start selling things on an item-by-item basis.

15. SOLD 1) Complete Gigrig pedalboard power supply setup - £140 2) [s]2[/s] 1 x Gigrig 'Timelord' high current adapter - £30 (will sell separately). If you have spent any time on Basschat’s Effects forum you will know how much love there is for this system among BC pedalboard junkies. I’ll spare you the full details of how it works and the insane amounts of clean power it delivers to your effects chain, as this is all very clearly explained here: https://www.thegigrig.com/power Suffice it to say that it is a modular and customizable system which allows you to put all of your power supply gubbins neatly underneath your board (e.g. for two-row pedaltrain type boards where there is a bit of floor clearance), or to use up as little space as possible in a ‘flat-on-floor’ style pedalboard (e.g Diago boards, single-row Pedaltrains, etc.). It’s also incredibly lightweight, so adds hardly any extra weight to your board once installed (unlike many rival ‘power brick’ systems, where ‘brick’ is often the operative word). £140 (postage included) buys you the whole lot: 1 Generator (including kettle lead, not in picture), 1 Distributor and 3 Isolators, and I will also throw in [s]15[/s] 14 Distributor/ Isolator Cables, 1 of which is unused and the rest cut to various lengths. (These are £10.00 for a pack of 6 from the Gigrig.com). I also have for sale (together with the above or separately) [s]2[/s] 1 x 'Timelord' high current power adapter for Strymon (and some other) pedals, at £30. Everything works great, and is in immaculate condition APART FROM the Distributor (see pic below), where the leftmost white plastic connector thingy is now a bit misshapen due to my clumsiness when I was setting it all up for the first time. It still works fine, though; I’m just noting this imperfection in the interests of full disclosure. If it bugs you that much, you can always buy a new Distributor from Gigrig.com for £35 and still be massively quids in. New, the whole lot would set you back £434 at current prices on the Gigrig site, so this is a proper steal. I would prefer to sell the whole setup together, but I will also be willing to sell each component separately or in other combinations if there are no takers for the whole package. So, what I am going to do is list this as a ‘whole bundle only’ (excluding the Timelord adapters) sale proposition for ONE WEEK ONLY, in order to allow time for people wanting to buy the whole lot to come forward. After that, I will add individual prices for each component and make it an ‘open season’ sale. Thanks for looking!
16. Joseph bought my Future Impact pedal. Great comms, prompt payment, and it turns out that he happens to play ninja-level bass in a band that I have seen live and really really like. So, I really couldn't be happier with this sale! Looking forward to seeing what crazy stuff you'll do with the FI, Joseph, and see you at the Flapper in December!
17. Perry bought my Strymon Timeline today. Really nice guy, and totally reliable - he even turned up early for our 11:00 meet-up at New Street Station despite the fact that he had a hangover! 100% recommendation from me. Cheers, Perry!
