I done made me a noodle. It's more pot noodle than anything quality and no loopers were harmed in the making of this noodle, though it would have made it slightly easier to play!! B Channel with high gain on the valve pre.

Are they any good? I got the feeling that PMT weren't that interested, musical items are a commodity to sell rather than something to be interested in if that makes sense.

The guitarist in my band wants to buy a new guitar. Any ideas of a guitar emporium where we can go to check out the options? I know the good places for bass gear but I'm a bit lost when it comes to our skinny stringed brethren. We're in Northampton BTW, so London or Brum is perfectly acceptable for travel.

I think we might be going to see Terrorvision in Coventry next month. I need to beat the troops into shape so I can get the right number of tickets!

That's an interesting approach to a drop D tuning. I've never seen it before. Does it cause any issues with not being able to play an open E or I guess you just learn to work around it.

I use really thin picks by the sound of it, Dunlop 0.6 ones.

Nothing about how it was better back in the day or using music stands?

I've never been able to play finger style with any kind of flow or consistency and when I started playing I didn't know I wasn't allowed to use a pick

I find mine is a faff to tune, I have to do each string a few times before they all stay in tune, but I agree, it's not the evil invention it has the reputation for.

I was going to do a Northampton Saints one. But I didn't get round to it and and sold the bits. There's a P-bass neck on here somewhere with a yellow faced headstock
