  1. The Green Green Goose Of Home — Tom Jones
  2. I'm still wondering who this Lean-Luc Pickguard chap listed in the poll is
  3. The Focusrite iTrack solo, currently £99 from amazon is designed for the job and includes the required lightning cable -> https://amzn.to/4eNlZEm
  4. Nutters like this are best ignored. I'd ask him why, if he's such an expert, why is he not gigging himself?
  5. Storm In A Teacup — The Fortunes
  6. Funny its listed as having switchcraft tone pots. I've never seen a switchcraft pot.
  7. Wot's For Lunch Mum? Not Beans Again! — The Shapes
  8. Glider — Captain Beefheart & The Magic Band
  9. I have a b-stock Fender GTX-7 pedal from Thomann incoming for my son's GTX50 amp. I'm hoping that it'll be in good condition but I believe it should be easy to return if there is any issue.
  10. Go Now — Bessie Banks
  11. Shake Me, Wake Me When It's Over — The Four Tops
  12. I don't have any connection with the seller, but I have just had one of these delivered, and I imagine others here might benefit from one of these. I wouldn't tempt fate by putting my Gibson Thunderbird or JMJ Mustangs directly on it, but any non-nitrocellulose finished instruments should be fine against the rubbery bits. When I ordered mine I missed that the listing has a 'make offer' button, so it might be possible to get quid or two discount off the already very reasonable price of £21.50. The stand is well made, quick & easy to assemble, and has enabled me to tidy up my haphazard pile of guitars & basses (in gigbags). I'm thinking about ordering a second one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/335044048602 Here is my new stand with with a Strat, a tele thinline, a harley benton doublecut LP, a mustang guitar, four mustang basses, and a Bass VI all in their gigbags.
  13. 45 RPM — The Jesus & Mary Chain
  14. Saint-Nix — The Residents
  15. Lion Eyes — The Eagles
  16. I played the rock garden back in the day. Some b'stard nicked my favourite 80s glow in the dark curly cable during change over after our set. You had to use the venue's drumkit, amps & PA and were not allowed to bring your own gear beyond guitars/bass/keys/pedals. I can't remember the financial details but I'm sure we didn't make a profit. We also played the Bull & Gate a few times in the same era, but I don't remember the financial details for that either.
  17. I don't know about the Blackstar, but If the aim is to spend as little as possible on a bass practice amp, I would go for this Ashdown Tourbus 10 -> https://www.cashconverters.co.uk/shop/music-tv--video/musical-instruments/amps--stage-equipment/guitar-amplifier/046100161066 If the budget is (quite) a bit more I'd look for a secondhand Roland MicroCube Bass RX, which is what I have and use daily, including with my NS-Design CR-5M EUB.
  18. This Must Be The Plaice — Talking Heads
  19. Where Is She? — The Residents
  20. Me too — I use the 40 - 60 - 70 - 95 (blue) set on my 3 × Epiphone Vintage Pro + a Gibson non-reverse Thunderbirds
  21. Born Tibia Live — Patrick Hernandez
  22. Death Grip On My Wheels — Pure Retribution
  23. Elevation — The Residents
  24. But that's the best kind of tweeter
