3. Hi, I have just bought a Mark Bass 111 head from a chap on this forum for £400 who has not had it long himself. There are no issues with it at all and in excellent working order with original box. It has a wonderfull warm, thick full and textured analog sound but having now tried it for well over an hour, the one main thing I personally don't particulary like is it slap sounds (too sweet for my liking), I prefer the sound of a TC Classic 450 slap sound as I now slalp a lot in the band I'm plaing in. I will of course miss its beautiful fat fingertyle playing sound no wonder this upgraded from mark 11 amp has won so many awards/readers polls. So I would also be looking for a sraight swap for a TC Classic 450 head to go owith my Tech Soundsystems cab Or a straight £395 (no offers at this price) including delivery. Will accept paypal providing the charges are met which equate to around £15. I live in Braford, near Leeds if you wish to collect. Cheers Kalim
4. Hi, Superb Gallien Krueger MB 115 Bass Combo. Excellent depth and warmth from the Neodynamic 15 speaker for which you get a full 200 loud watts! It has a defeatable horn and limiter and a circuit which eliminates any silly popping noises when switching it on and off unlike some even more expensive combos, hence a safety feature. I have only had it for around 6 months and not abused in anyway. It can more than cope with loud gigs and superb with a low B. Thererfore very well looked after and it has great depth without sounding muddy thanks to the very good amp section, and a fast punchy sound for a 15 in speaker. I am selling as I have gone back to seperate head and cab set up. Just google up reviews and you will see what I mean. I am after £230 + £15 delivery. I have the original Box and packaging I can post it in via courier. Paypal or cash on collection. Cheers Kalim
5. Hi all, I am selling my Gallien Krueger MB 115 Combo which has a 15 Neodymium Speaker and a surprisingly good tweeter which is defeatable. Great for slap and tickle too. It was purchased from Soundslive.co.uk for £336 and has a remaining 6 or so months guarantee. I have the original box I can send it in. I would like at least £270 as this is a superb combo - period. It has been well cared for with no dints or grazes to the cabinet. I ordered the Ashdown EB 180 combo from soundslive before this and returned it and bought this on their recommendation after explaining that I was not happy with it as I also play a five string. The Ashdown did not even come close to this and was much heavier. I have used this only 11 times in rehearsal and two shows and not abused in any way and did not need to go over half way volume wise! I am selling due to having purchased a new GK bi –amp head so need the cash to fund the cabs for my gig set up. It is very warm sounding but clear and very punchy, therefore sounds more like two 10’s. The rest if the specks are from website: I have had many combos but this one beats them hands down and if you play a five string, this reproduces the low be superbly without a hint of distortion. The Gillian-Krueger MB115 combo delivers a big sound from a light compact package. At 200w the MB115 combo has the power to be heard in any situation. Gillian-Krueger MB115 main features include: 200W digital power amp 1/8” aux input Headphone jack Defeatable limiter 15” Speaker Active 4 band EQ with contour XLR output Dimensions: 23.5x19.5x14.75 Weight: 35 lbs Here - let the reviews speak: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1AA1ITEL95U3U http://www.guitarcenter.com/Gallien-Kruege...471-i1473232.gc http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/pr...-Amp?sku=581052 Pics to follow Regards Kalim
6. Hi, I have just bought my old Tech 210XT cab which I sold due to a bout of insanity (you know what I mean). However, I managed to convince the third owner since I sold it to sell it back to me, which he kindly did! Anyway, your Tech 12 combo is at a crazy price and it is a fantastic deal, easily takes a five string and the Puma amp alone is around £500 region. So, someone is going to get a brilliant deal on this high end combo! Regards Kalim

9. Hi, I was reading that the Hartke kickback 15 combo gives a full 120 watt into its 8 ohm speaker. I am not sure what this means but does this mean that it would be more powerfull than say if it was 120 watt into a 4 ohm combo speaker? Regards Kalim

12. Hi All, I am selling my top of the range and very rare Bass Collection 5 string bass which has only been used a few practices at home since having it professionally set up with new strings, fret work and a new three band EMG eq with midrange fitted by Chris from the Bass Centre a couple of years back. The resulting sound is versitile and full and strong sounding bass, including for slap, although I never really slapped on this bass! I would describe the sound as very clean and even across the board, superb for all styles I purchased this as a used bass for aroound £800 and and had the Hyper Blue LED'S fitted by Martin Sims whom I met in the Bass centre about 10 years ago cost around approx £400. The results are an excellent Zebrano top with a dense superb ebony fretboard, and three piece bolt on neck that is very comfortable and stable indeed. This bass was made in Japan. The bass is in very good condition despite its age. The only thing I wish to mention is that near the input this is a small crack, which was properly repaired by the bass centre when I bought it but in no way affects the bass in any way, therefore no issue for transparrency sake. I am selling due not having played in a band for last couple of years and it is sat there doing nothing and need to pay for my sons driving lessons! No trades - just make me a reasonable offer around £590 For pics, see http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=72269 I am based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. 14. Hi All, I bought this absolutely superb and very loud 150 watt (12 inch speaker) combo from Carlos on this forum sometime last year and have not gigged it but only a few home twinkles. It is FAR too good to be just used this way and is the best combo I have ever used with a 4 or 5 string courtesy of it high quality speaker and electronics which EBS are renowned for. Everything is working as it should be with no loose controls, etc. This is NOT the cheap China made one but made in Sweeden. It eats 5 string bass - enough said without ever sounding boxy like even some 15 combos with a five string. This is not the new Neo speaker version but when you play through this and hear the depth and quality of sound, !t will not bother you the slightest. Fantastic for slap and great depth for rock as the eq is very powerful and responisve, I am sure you know all the other specs. Will consider trade for a headless 4 string bass Looking for £450 + £25 delivery For Pics - see http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...mp;hl=ebs+drome Cheers Kalim

17. Hi Josh, Have you still got the Techsoundsystm 2x10 cab xt version? I ask as I annoyingly missed the brilliant new 2x10 tecamp cab retailing at £399! At guitatguitar.co.uk which a few of our forum lads bought just recently as they had fantastic deals on them just recently but all sold out. They even had the 2x12 cab at £399! Anyway, If you are still wanting to get rid of yours,. depending on the price, I might just take it off your hands and I can pick it up from you in lancashir. often gigged there. Let me know either way. Cheers Kalim
Techamp cabs are superb! I've got one of their earlier cabs, from when they were still known as techsoundsystems. Thinking of moving that on if you're interested, 2x10 Neo cab. The XT version too which boosts its power handling to 650W *edit* Make that 700W
18. Hi, I'll take the following: Marcus Miller – Master of all Trades.R2 £6.50 Prince – live in Las Vegas.MR £5.00 Toto – 25th anniversary live in Amsterdam.R1 £6.00 Pm'd Cheers Kalim
19. Yeh, thanks a lot Steve, it is really light and the other thing is that you don't get the nuckles grazed when taking it through doorways becuase of the width and the inbuilt handles which is also great about these cabs. Cheers Kalim
20. Hi All, I am now having to sell my beloved Tech Soundsystems NeoDynamic ND4x10S (4ohm version) 1200w cab due to no longer in my main band. I have just bought a quality EBS combo from a forum member for home practice and the odd local gigs, therefore need to sell to cover funds. Pics: Anyway, I bought this cab from Allen/Why Not - from this forum not so long ago. I believe he bought it from Doods. This cab has been lovingly cared for and it is in excellent condition with no dents, etc. Specs are exactly as stated. Variable tweeter control and speakon inputs. Also has a jack input for turning the tweeter off via footswitch (not included). The sound is superb for all styles and is very articulate and warm. I have never heard a B string of a five string bass sound so clear and natural as I have with this cab! I was told by Tech that this cab uses very high quality components even the internal wiring is thick copper and silver, hi-fi quality to and from the speakers, not to mention the expensive Neo speakers and quality of construction materials, hence why they are so costly. The cab has not been abused in any way as it is very loud, even on low setting with the Mark Bass Amp (sold recently on this forum) due to the high sensitivity 103db of the cab. I am not open to offers so selling price is no less than £495 To shift this - vefied Paypal payment/Cash and or part cheque accepted after deposit. Postage? Yes if you can provide me with abox big enough and postage cost. I am willing to travel up to 50 miles from Bradford, West Yorkshire to meet up with the cab Cheers Kalim
