2. Nice, VERY nice - love the natural look - I received a long-time GAS object recently as well, a Corvette $$, and as you say the quality is simply amazing happy plucking
Well, today, my passive Warwick Corvette Standard arrived and all I can say is WOW. First of all the quality is out of this world. I thought Lakland were good but this is on another level. Even the gigbag has a quality check sheet thats be signed off. It came with a beautiful folder with manuals, tools, wax. As for the bass, my god, what a finish Now for the tone. I was hoping it would be tight, snappy and punchy and boy does it live up to that. Its better than I had hoped for. The neck is also really thin and smooth. What an amazing bass. I am one very happy bunny
3. Just a quick note to give praise to Muzz. I received some long time GAS from him today (Corvette $$ NT) in absolutly top notch out of the factory condition. Packing was superb both externally and inside the hard-case. Cannot recommend enough, went out of his way in the festive season to call around and get the price of shipping down. many thanks dude! Allen. (all praise Muzz, all praise Muzz, all praise Muzz... !!)
4. You could head out as one John_The_Bass said to XMusic on the "Luas", lots of musical stuff to noodle about on but not a massive selection of basses - I've seen more in some of the chain type stores in the UK. Sometimes you can see something interesting in Music Maker (off Grafton street really) and Musician inc (almost across the road from it, next x-roads). Bottom line however is you aint going to really see any bargains. Having said that, if you see something in XMusic you like, and know the UK price, they currently match GAK, Andertons and Thomann euro for euro. Enjoy your trip, if you have the chance look up the Academy website or Whelans - both excellent small live music venues - you might be lucky and get to see something interesting! /A.
5. mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine Sweaty lil paws are 'atremblin waitin.... Let the GAS continue!

Hi all, some help required pleae Thanks to the eagle eye'd OP and the amount I have learned lurking for the past while, I decided to bag myself a bargain! (no xmas pressires for anyone this year ) ... so Mr Courier arrived this morning with a Tecamp 600 head and 210 cab (the cab seems lighter than the head!) ... anyway, excuse the newbie question but this is my first non combo setup and no matter what combination of speakeron from head to back of cab, I am getting no sound?! ... I know the bass is live cos it works on my existing combo. When I turn on the head is hums for a few seconds then goes quiet and the lights are on. I attach some pics of the rear of the boxes if it helps! many thanks, Allen. 12. Hi All, Dont know if I can post this here but why not? ... I have two spare tickets for AC/DC this weekend in Punchestown in Ireland. If anyone on the board is local in Dublin and can meet I am offering them out at half face value (works out about 50/60 euro I think... have to check).. they are my bosses and he (stupidly) booked holidays over the same date he had bought tickets... so, I'll be there thinking of him <<not!!>> ... its a good deal, if you know anyone interested let me know! /A.
13. The 505 is a superb piece of kit - you can get an amazing range of sounds from it. It holds pride of place for playability and sound in my (growing) livery of axes. Whoever takes this wont regret it. /A.

19. Hi All, I've been lurking on here a while and learning loads. I'm going to be in the UK in a week or two and travelling from Holyhead in Wales to Manchester. I'm looking for any music store along the route that would stock Warwick basses? ... since I'm pretty ignorant about where towns/cities are in the UK I'd appreciate any help! (Route is Holyhead/Bangor/Colwyn Bay/Abergle/Shotton/Warrington/manchester) thanks, Allen
